Le  transfert  s'’appliquera,  également,  aux
créances  à  recouvrer  pour  les  produits  livrés
antérieurement  à  la  prise  de  possession  par  I’Etat
français  et  postérieurement  à  la  signature  du  présent
  Traité,  ainsi  qu'aux  cautionnements  des
clients,  dont  les  droits  seront  garantis  par  1  Etat
français.

84.

La  propriété  sera  acquise  par  l'Etat  français
franche  et  quitte  de  toutes  dettes  et  charges.
Toutefois,  il  no  sera  porté  aucune  atteinte  aux
droits  acquis,  ou  en  cours  d’acquisition,  par  le
personnel  des  mines  et  de  leurs  dépendancos
à  la  date  de  la  mise  en  vigueur  du  présent
Traité,  en  ce  qui  concerne  les  pensions  de  retraite
ou  d'invalidits  de  ce  personnel.  En  revanche,
PAllemagne  devra  remettre  à  IEtat  francais  les
réserves  mathématiques  des  rentes  acquises  par
ledit  personnmel.

La  valeur  des  propriétés  ainsi  cédées  à  IEtat
françaie  sera  déterminée  par  la  Commission  des
réparations  prévue  à  Tarticle  233  de  la  Partie
VIII  (Réparations)  du  présent  Traité.

Cette  valeur  sera  portée  au  crédit  de  IAllemagne
  dans  le  compte  des  réparations.

I1  appartiendra  à  I’Allemagne  d’indemniser
les  propriétaires  ou  intéressés,  quels  qu'ils  scient.

56.

Aucun  tarif  ne  sera  établi  sur  los  chemins  de
fer  et  Ccanaux  allemands,  qui  puisse,  par  des  discriminations
  directes  ou  indirectes,  porter  préjudico
  au  transport  du  personnel,  des  produits  des
mines  et  de  leurs  dépendances,  ou  des  matières
nécossaires  à  leur  exploitation.  Ces  transports
jouiront  de  lous  les  droits  et  privilèges  qdue  des
conventions  internationales  sur  les  chemins  de  fer
pourraient  garantir  aux  produits

The  transfer  will  apply  also  to  the  debts
owing  for  products  delivered  before  the  entry
into  possession  by  the  French  State,  and  alter

the  signature  of  the  present  Treaty,  and  to

deposits  of  money  made  by  customers,  whoso
rights  will  be  guaranteed  by  the  French  State.

The  French  State  will  acquire  the  property
free  and  clear  of  all  debts  and  charges.  Nevertheless,
  the  rights  acquired,  or  in  course  of  being
acquired,  by  the  employees  of  the  mines  and  their
saccessories  and  subsidiaries  at  the  date  of  the
coming  into  force  of  the  present  Treaty,  in
connection  with  pensions  for  old  age  or  disability,
  will  not  be  affected.  In  return,  Germany
must  pay  over  to  the  French  State  a  tum
representing  the  actuarial  amounts  to  which  tho
said  employees  are  entitled.

The  value  of  the  property  thus  ceded  to  the
French  State  will  be  determined  by  the  Reparntion
  Commission  refered  to  in.  Article  233  ef
Part  VIII  (Reparation)  of  the  present  Treatzy.
This  value  shall  be  credited  to  Germany  in
Part  payment  of  the  amount  due  for  reparation.
It.  will  be  for  Germany  to  indemniky  tlie
proprietors  or  parties  concerned,  whoever  They)
may  be.  «

No  tariff  shall  be  established  on  the  German
raiways  and  canals.  which  may  directly  er
indirectly  discriminate  to  the  preiudice  of  the
transport  of  the  personnel  or  products  of  tho
mines  and  their  accessories  or  subsidiaries,  or  of
the  material  necessary  to  their  exploitation.
Such  transport  shall  enioy  all  the  rights  and
privileges  which  any  international  railway  conventions
  may  guarantee  to  similar  products  of
French  origin.
