Les  stipulations  additionnellos  concernant  la
nationolite  ot  ci-après  annexées  seront  considérées
Con#me  ayant  mémoc  korce  et  valeur  due  les  disposilions
  de  la  présente  Scction.

Toutes  autres  questions  concernant  I’Alsace-Lorraine,
  qui  ne  seraient  Das  röglées  par  la  présento
  Section  ct  son  Annere  ni  par  les  dispositions
  générales  du  présent  Traité,  feront  Tobjet,
de  conventions  ultéricures  entre  la  France  et
I|  Allemagne.  «

ANNEKE.

"“  5  1.
A  dater  du  11  novembre  1918,  sont  réintégrés
de  plein  droit  dans  la  nationalité  française:

1%  Les  personnes  qui  ont  perdu  la  nationalité
francise  Par  application  du  Traité  francco-allemand
  du  10  mai  1871,  et  n’ont  pas  acquis  dopuis
lors  une  nationalité  autre  que  la  nationalité  alle--mande;


20  Les  descendants  IéGgitimes  ou  naturels  des
Dersonncs  visées  au  paragraphe  précédent,  à  l’excoplion
  de  cc#  K  qvant  parmi  leurs  ascendants  en
ligne  paternello  un  Allemand  immigré  en  Alsace-.
  Lorraine  postérieuremem  au  15  juillet  1870;

3°  Tout  individu  né  en  Alsace-Lorraine  de
Paronte  inconnus  ou  dont  la  nationalité  est  in-Connue.

The  stipulations  as  to  nationality  contained
in  the  Annex  hereto  shall  be  considered  as  ol
cqual  forcoe  with  the  provisions  of  the  present
Section.

All  other  questions  concerning  Alsace-Lor-.
Taine  which  are  not  regulated  by  the  present  Section
  and  the  Annox  thereto  or  by  the  general
Drovisions  of  the  presont  Treaty  will  korm  the
subject  of  further  conventions  between  France
and  Germany.

ANNEK.

1.

As  from  November  11,  1918,  the  following
persons  are  ipso  facto  reinstated  in  French  nationality:


(1)  Persons  who  lost  French  nationality  by
the  application  of  the  Franco-German  Treaty  ol
May  10,  1871,  and  who  have  not  since  that  dalo
acquired  any  nationality  other  than  German:

(2)  The  legitimate  or  natural  descendants  of
the  persons  relerred  to  in  the  immediately  precoding
  paragraph,  with  the  exception  of  those  whose
ascendants  in  the  paternal  line  include  a  German
  who  migrated  into  Alsace-Lorraine  after
July  15,  1870;

(3)  All  persons  born  in  Alsace-Lorraine  ot
unknown  parents,  or  whose  nationality  is
unknown.

Within  the  period  of  one  year  from  the  coming
into  force  of  the  present  Treaty,  persons  included
in  any  of  the  kollowing  categories  may  daim
French  nationality:

(1)  All  persons  not  restored  to  French  nationality
  under  paragraph  1  above,  whose  ascendant3#
include  a  Frenchman  or  Frenchwoman  who  lost
French  nationality  under  the  conditions  referrod
to  in  the  said  paragraph;
