la  clöture  du  vote,  le  nombre  des  voix  dans
chadqdue  commune  sera  communiqué  par  la  Comi
  aux  prineipales  Puissances  alliées  et  associées,
  em  meme  temps  qu'un  rapport  détaillé  sur
lestopérations  du  vote  et  qw’une  proposition  sur
le  tracé  qui  devrait  stre  adopté  comme  frontidre
de  PAllemagne  en  Haute  Silésie,  en  tenant  compte
du  vœu  exprimé  par  les  habitants  ainsi  que  de  la
situation  géographique  et  économique  des  localités.

Aussitöt  que  la  ligne  frontisère  aura  été  fixée
par  les  Principales  Puissances  alliées  et  associées,
la  Commission  notifiera  aux  autorités  allemandes
qw’elles  ont  à  reprendre  Padministration  du  territoire
  qui  serait  reconnu  comme  devant  stre  allemand;
  leesdites  autorités  devront  y  procéder  dans
le  courant  du  mois  qui  suivra  cette  notification,
de  la  manière  prescrite  par  la  Commission.

Dans  le  meme  délai  et  de  la  manitre  prescrite
par  la  Commission,  le  Gouvernement  polonais
devra  pourvoir  à  T’administration  du  territoire
qui  serait  reconnu  comme  devant  etre  polonais.

Des  due  T’administration  du  pays  aura  4té
ainsi  assurée  respectivement  par  les  autorités.
allemandes  ou  polonaises,  les  ponvoirs  de  la  Commission
  prendront  fin.

Les  frais  de  l'armée  d'’occupation  et  les  dé-Denses
  de  la  Commission,  tant  pour  son  fonctionnement
  due  pour  ’administration  de  la  zone,
scront  prélovés  sur  les  revenus  locaurx.

Every  person  will  vote  in  the  commune  whero
he  is  domiciled  or  in  which  he  was  born,  if  he  hüs
not,  retained  his  domieile  in  the  area.

The  result  of  the  vote  will  be  dotermined  by
communes  according  to  the  majority  of  votes  in
each  commune.  k

On  the  conclusion  of  the  voting,  the  number  olvotes
  cast  in  ench  commune  will  be  communicated
by  the  Commission  to  the  Principal  Allicd  and
Asscciated  Powers,  with  a  full  report  as  to  tho
taking  of  the  vote  and  a  recommendation  as  to
the  line  which  ought  to  be  adopted  as  the  frontior
of  Germany  in  Upper  Silesia.  In  this  recommendation
  regard  will  be  paid  to  the  wishes  of  tho
inhabitants  as  shown  by  the  vote,  and  to  tho
Bgeographical  and  economie  conditions  of  tho
locality.

As  soon  as  the  frontier  has  been  fixed  by  the
Principal  Allied  and  Associated  Powers,  t(ho
German  authorities  will  be  notifled  by  the  International
  Commission  that  they  are  free  to  tako
over  the  administration  of  the  territory  which  it
is  recognised  should  be  German;  the  said  authorities
  must  proceed  to  do  so  within  one  month  of
such  notification  and  in  the  manner  prescribed  by
tho  Commission.

Within  the  same  period  and  in  the  manner
Prescribed  by  the  Commission,  the  Polish  Government
  must  proceed  to  take  over  the  administration
of  the  territory  which  it  is  recognised  should  bo
Polish.

When  the  administration  of  ime  territory.

has  been  provided  for  by  tho  German  and  Polish

autborities  respectively,  the  powers  of  tho  Commission
  will  terminate.

The  cost  of  the  army  of  occupation  and
expenditurSö  by  the  Commission,  whether  in
discharge  of  its  own  functions  or  in  the  administration
  of  the  territory,  7  will  be  a  charge  on
tho  area.
