A  la  clöôture  du  voto,  le  nombre  des  voix  dans
chadue  communco  sera  communiqué  par  la  Commission
  aux  Principales  Puissanccs  alliées  et
associées,  en  meme  temps  qu'un  rapport  dstoillé
sur  les.  opérations  du  vote  et  qwune  proposition
sur  le  tracé,  qui  devrait  ötre  adopté  comme  fronti2re
  de  la  Prusse  Orientale  dans  cette  région,  en
tenant  compte  du  vœu  des  habitants  exprimé  par
le  voto  ainsi  due  de  la  situation  géographique  et
économique  des  localités.  Les  Principales  Puissances
  allices  et  associées  détermineront  alors  la
frontidre  entre  la  Prusse  Orientale  et  la  Pologno
dans  cette  région.

Si  le  tracé  fixé  par  les  Principales  Puissances
alliéces  et  associées  est  tel  qu'il  exclut  de  la
Prusse  Orientale  une  partie  quclconque  du  terrain
délimité  à  F’article  94,  la  reuconciation  de  I’Allomagne
  à  ses  droits  en  faveur  de  la  Pologne,  ainsi
qu'il  est  prévu  à  T’article  87  ci-dessus,  s'stendra
aux  territoires  ainsi  ecxclus

Aussitöt  due  la  ligne  aura  été6  fixée  par  les
Prineipales  Puissances  alliées  et  associées,  la
Commission  internationale  notillera  aux  autorités
  administratives  de  la  Prusse  Orientalo  qu'elles
ont  à  reprendre  Tadministration  du  territoire
situs  au  Nord  de  la  ligne  ainsi  fixée,  co  du’elles
devront  faire  dans  le  courant  du  mois  qui  suivra
celte  notilication  el  de  la  manièro  prescrite  par
la  Commission.  Dans  lo  maème  délai  et  de  la

manidro  prescrite  par  la  Commission,  le  Gouverne--ment
  polonais  devra  pourvoir  à  T’administra--tion
  du  territoire  silué  iu  Sud  de  la  ligne  fixée.
Des  que  I’administration  du  pays  aura  été  ainsi
assurée  respectivement  par  les  autorités  de  la
Prusse  Oricntale  ct  de  la  Pologne,  los  pouvoirs
de  la  Commission  internalionale  prendront  fin.

Pes  dépenses  de  la  Commission  tant  pour  son
fonctionnement  que  pour  ’administration  de  la
zonc,  seront  prélevés  sur  les  revenus  locaux;  le
surplus  en  sera  supporté  par  la  Prusse  Orientalo

Lo  résultat  du  vote  sera  déterminé  par  com-The

  result  of  the  vote  will  be  determined  by
communes  (Gemeinde)  according  to  the  majority
of  the  votes  in  each  commune.

On  the  conclusion  of  the  voting  the  number
of  votes  cast  in  each  commune  will  be  communicated

  by  the  Commission  to  the  Principal  Allied

and  Associated  Powers,  with  a  full  report  as  to
the  taking  of  the  vote  and  a  recommendation  as
to  the  line  which  ought  to  be  adopted  as  the
boundary  of  East  Prussia  in  this  region.  In  this
recommendation  regard  will  be  paid  to  the
wishes  of  the  inhabitants  as  shown  by  the  vote
and  to  the  geographical  and  economic  conditions
of  the  locality.  The  Principal  Allied  and  Aesociated
  Powers  will  then  fix  the  frontier  between
East  Prussia  and  Poland  in  this  region.

If  the  line  fred  by  the  Principal  Allied  and
Associated  Powens  is  such  as  to  exclude  from.
East  Prussia  any  part  of  the  territory  defined  in
Article  94,  the  renunciation  of  its  rights  by
Germany  in  favour  of-  Poland,  as  provided  in
Article  87  above,  will  extend  to  the  territories
50  excluded.-As

  scon  as  the  line  has  been  fixed  by  the
Frincipal  Allied  and  Associated  Powers,  the
authorities  administering  East  Prussia  will  be
notified  by  the  International  Commission  that
they  are  free  to  take  over  the  administration  of
the  territory  to  the  north  of  the  line  so  fired,
which  they  shall  procced  to  do  within  one
month  of  such  notification  and  in  the  manner
Prescribed  by  the  Commission.  Within  the  same
period  and  as  prescribed  by  the  Commission,  tho
Polish  Government  must  procced  to  take  over
the  administration  of  the  territory  to  the  south
of  the  lino.  Wlien  the  administration  of  the
territory  by  the  East  Prussian  and  Polish  authorities
  respectively  has  been  provided  for,  the
powers  of  the  Commission  will  terminate.

Expenditure  by  the  Commission,  whether  in
the  discharge  of  its  own  functions  or  in  the
administration  of  the  territory,  will  be  borne  by
the  local  revenues.  East  Prussia  will  be  roquired
