approprices  pour  communiquer  par  voie  ferrée,
par  télégraphe  et  par  télöophone  avce  le  reste
de  IAllemagne  et  la  Prusse  Orientale  à
travers  le  territoire  polonais,  et  d’'autre  part  à
la  Pologne  les  mémes  facilités  pour  ses  communications
  avee  la  Ville  libre  de  Dantzig  à  travers.
le  territoire  allemand  qui  pourra  se  trouver  sur
la  rive  droite  de  la  Vistule,  entre  la  Folosne  et  la
Ville  libre  de  Dantzig.

Article  99.

L’Allemagne  renonce,  en  faveur  des  Princi-Dales
  Puissances  alliéces  et  asscociées,  à  tous
droits  et  titres  sur  les  territoires  Compris  entre
la  mer  Baltique,  la  frontière  Nord-Est  de  la
Prusse  Orientale  décrite  à  Tartickhe  28  de  la
Partie  II  (Frontieères  d’Allemagne)  du  présent
Traité  et  les  anciennes  frontières  entre  FAlemagne
  et  la  Russie.

LlAllemagne  s'’engage  à  reconnaftre  les  dispositions
  que  les  Principales  Puissances  allices
et  associées  prendront  relativement  à  ces  terriloires,
  notamment  en  ce  qui  concerne  la
nationalité  des  habitants.

VIILE  LIBRE  DE  DANTZIG.

Article  100.

LAllemagne  renonce,  en  faveur  des  Princi-Dales
  Puissances  alliées  et  associées,  &amp;  tous  droits
et  titres  sur  le  territoire  compris  dans  les  limites
ci-après:

de  la  mer  Baltique,  vers  le  Sud  et  jusqu’au
Point  de  rencontre  des  chenaux  de  navigation
principauxz  de  la  Nogat  et  de  la  Vistule  (Weichsel):

League  of  Nations,  with  the  object  of  securing,
on  tbe  one  hand  to  Germany  full  and  adeduate
railroad,  telegraphic  and  telephonic  facilities  for
communication  between  the  rest  of  Germany  and
East  Prussia  over  the  intervening  Polich  territory,
  and  on  the  other  hand  to  Poland  full  and
adequate  railroad,  kelegraphic  and  telephonic  facilities
  for  communication  between  Poland  and  the
Free  City  of  Danzig  over  any  German  territory
that  may;  on  the  right  bank  of  the  Vistula,
intervene  between  Poland  and  the  Free  City  of
Danzig.

SECTION  X.
MEMEIL.

Article  99.

Germany  renounces  in  favour  of  the  Principal
Allied  and  Associated  Powers  all  rights  and  title
over  the  territories  included  between  the  Baltic,
the  north  eastern  frontier  of  East  Prussia  as
defined  in  Article  28  of  Part  II  (Boundaries  of
Germany)  of  the  present  Treaty  and  the  former
frontier  between  Germany  and  Russia.

Germany  undertakes  to  accept  the  settlement
made  by  the  Principal  Allied  and  Asscciated
Powers  in  regard  to  these  territories,  pariicularly
  in  so  far  as  concerns  the  nationality  of
the  inhabitants.

SECIION  N.
FREE  CTTY  OF  DANZITG.

Article  100.

Germany  renounces  in  favour  of  the  Principal
Allied  and  Associated  Powers  all  rights  and
(itle  over  the  territory  comprised  within  the
following  limits:

from  the  Baltic  Sea  southwards  to  the  point
where  the  prineipal  channels  of  navigation  of
the  Nogat  and  the  Vistula  (Weichsel)  meet:
