SIESVIG.

Article  109.

La  frontière  entre  PAllemagne  et  le  Danemark
  sera  fixée  conformément  aux  aspirations
des  populations.

A  ceite  Jfin,  les  populations  habitant  les  territoires
  de  l’ancien  Empire  allemand  situcs  au
Nord  d'unc  ligne,  orientée  Est-Ouest  (figurée  par
un  trait  bistre  sur  la  carte  Ne  4  annende  au
Drésent  Traité):

Dartant  de  la  mer  Baltique  à  environ  13  kilometres
  Est-Nord-Est  de  Flensburg,

so  dirigeant

vers  le  Sud-Ouest  en.  passant  au  Sud-Est  do:
Sygum,  Ringsberg,  Munkbrarup,  Adelby,  Tastrup,
Jarplund,  Oversec,  ct  au  Nord-Ouest  de:  Lang-Lalligholz,
  Langballig,  Bönstrup,  Rüllschau,
Weseby,  Kleinwolstrup,  Gross-Solt,  ·

puis,verleuestanpassantausuddoFrökup
et  au  Nord  de  Wandorup,

Duis,  vers  lo  Sud-Ouest  en  passant  au  Sud-Eet
Oxlund,  Stieglund  et  Ostenau  et  au  Nord-Oucst
dos  villages  sur  la  route  Wanderup-Kollund,

Puis,  vers  10  Nord-Ouest  en  passant  au  Sud-Oucst
  de  Löwenstedt,  Joldelund,  Goldelund,  et
au  Nord-Est  de  Kolkerheide  et  Högel  jusqu'au
coude  du  Scholmer  Au,  à  onviron  1  kilomdètre  à
IEst  de  Soholm,  où  elle  roncontre  la  limite  Sud  du

erco  (Krefs)  de  Tondern,

suivant  cotte  limito  jusqufà  la  mer  du  Nord,

Dassant  au  Sud  des  lles  do  Fohr  et  Amrum  ot
au  Nord  des  lles  d’Oland  et  de  Langonoss,

reront  aphelces  à  sc  prononcer  par  un  vote,  auquel
il  seru  procédé  doans  les  conditions  suivantes:

1°  Des  la  mise  en  vigucur  du  présent  Traité,
ct  dans  un  délai  qui  no  devra  pas  déepasser  dix
iours,  les  troupcs  ct  les  autorités  allcmandes
(ycompris  les  Oberprsidenten,  Reolerungs-prési-878

SCHLESWIG.

Articke  109.

The  frontier  between  Germany  and  Denmark
shall  be  fired  in  conformity  with  the  wishes  of
the  population.

For  this  purpose,  the  population  inhabiting
the  territories  of  the  former  German  Empire
situated  to  the  north  of  a  line,  from  East  to
West,  (shown  by  a  brown  lino  on  the  map  No.  4,
annered  to  the  present  Treaty):

leaving  the  Baltic  Sea  about  13  kilometres
east-north-east  of  Flensburg,

running

south-west  so  as  to  pass  south-east  of:
Sygum,  Ringsberg,  Munkbrarup,  Adelby,  Tastrup,
Jarplund,  Oversee,  and  north-west  of:  Langballig
holz,  Langballig,  Bönstrup,  Rüllschau,  Weseby,
Kleinwolstrup,  Gross-Solt,

thence  westwards  passing  south  of  Frörup  and
north  of  Wanderup,

thence  in  a  south-westerly  direction  passing
south-east  of  Oxlund,  Stieglund  and  Ostenau
and  north-west  of  the  villages  on  the  Wanderup-Kollund
  road,

thence  in  a  north-westerly  direction  passing
south-west  of  Löwenstedt,  Joldelund,  Goldelund,
and  north-east  of  Kolkerheide  and  Hôögel  to  the
bend  of  the  Scholmer  Au,  about  1  küometre  east
of  Scholm,  where  it  meets  the  southern  boundary
  of  the  Kreis  of  Tondern,

following  this  boundary  to  the  North  Sea,

passing  south  of  the  islands  of  Fohr  and  Amrum
  and  north  of  the  islands  of  Oland  and
Langeness,

shall  be  called  upon  to  pronounce  by  a  vote
which  will  be  taken  under  the  following  conditions:

(1)  Within  a  period  not  exeoding  ten  days
from  the  coming  into  force  of  the  present  Treaty,
the  Gorman  troops  and  authorities  (including  the
Oberpräasickenten,  Regferungs-prasidenten,  Land-
