Article  118.

Hors  de  ses  limites  en  Europe,  telles  qu'olloa
Ssont  fixéS  par  le  présent  Traité,  I/Allecmauns
renonce  à  tous  droits,  titres  ou  priviloges  quelconques
  sur  ou  concernant  tous  territomes  lm
appartenant,  à  elle  ou  à  ses  alliés.  ainsi  qu'à  touc
droits,  titres  ou  privilöges  ayanr  pu,  à  quelqutitre
  quc  ce  soit,  lui  appartenir  vis-à-vis  des
PTuissancos  allises  et  associces.

L'Allemagne  s’engage  dès  à  présent  à  reconnaltre
  ct  à  agréer  les  mesures  qui  sont  ou  seront
Prises  par  les  Principales  Puissances  alliées  et
associées,  Taccord,  s’il  y  a  lieu,  avec  les  tierces
T’uissances,  en  vue  de  régler  les  conséquences  de
la  disposition  qui  précede.

Spécialement,  I'Allemagne  déclare  agréer  les
etipulations  des  articles  ci-après,  relatifs  à  cerlaines
  matières  particulières.

SECTITON  I.
COlI.ONIES  ALIEIANDES.

Articke  119.
L'Allemagne  renonce,  en  laveur  des  Principales.
Tuissances  allices  et  associées,  à  tous  ses  droits
ct  titris  sur  ses  Dossessions  d'outre-mer.

Artiecle  120.

Tous  droits  mobiliers  et  immobiliers  appartenant
  dans  ces  territoires  à  I'’Empire  allemand  ou
à  un  Etat  allemand  quelconque,  passeront  au
(louvkernement  ekercant  l’autorité  sur  cos  torritoires,
  dans  les  conditions  sixées  dans  Tartielo
  257  de  la  Partio  IX  (Clauses  financières)  du

Article  118.

In  territory  outside  her  European  frontiers
as  fixed  by  the  prosent  Treaty,  Germany  renounces
all  righis,  titles  and  privileges  whatever  in  or
over  territory  which  belonged  to  her  or  to  ber
eallies.  and  all  rights,  titles  and  privileges
wbatever  thoir  origin  which  she  held  as  againet
the  Allied  and  Associated  Powers.

Germany  hereby  undertakes  to  recognise
and  to  conform  to  the  measures  which  may
be  taken  now  or  in  the  future  by  the  Principal
Allicd  and  Associated  Powers,  in  agreement
where  necessary  with  third  Powers,  in  order  to
carry  the  above  stipulation  into  effect.

In  particular  Germany  declares  her  acceptance
  of  the  following  Articles  relating  to
cortain  special  subjects.

SECTITON  I.
CERNIAN  COLONIES.

Articke  119.
Germany  renounces  in  favour  of  the  Prineipal
  Allied  and  Associated  Powers  all  her  rights
eand  titles  orer  her  oversea  possessions.

Arktiche  120.

All  movable  and  immovable  property  in  such
territories  bolonging  to  the  German  Empire  or
to  any  German  State  shall  pass  to  tho  Government
  cxercising  authority  over  such  territories,
on  the  torms  laid  down  in  Article  257  of  Part  IX
(Financial  Clauses)  of  the  present  Treaty.  Tho
