Les  indigènes  habitant  les  anciennes  possessions
  allemandes  d’outre-mer  auront  droit  à  la
protection  diplomatique  du  Gouvernement  qun

CHHINE.

T./Allemagne  renonce,  en  faveur  de  la  Chine,
à  tous  privilèges  et  avantages  résultent  des
Ospositions  du  Protocole  final  signé  à  Pékin  le
7  sebtembre  1901,  ensemble  tous  annexes,  notes
ct  documents  compléementaires.  Elle  renonce
Cgalement  en  farcur  de  la  Chine,  à  toute  réelamation
  (T’indemnité  en  vertu  dudit  Protocole
postéricurement  au  14  mars  1917.

r  rrlatmg  to  Eauatorial  Africa.  She  undertakes
  kto  pay  to  the  French  Government,  in
uccordance  witb  the  estimate  to  be  presented  by
mat  Governmen  and  approved  by  the  Reparaüon
  Commission,  all  the  deposits,  credits,  advoances,
  etc.,  effected  by  virtue  of  these  instrumenrs
  in  favour  of  Germany.

Article  126.

Germany  undertakes  to  accept  and  observe
ehe  arcements  #nade  or  to  be  made  by  the  Allied
#uc  Assnchlated  Powers  or  some  of  them  with  any
uother  Power  with  regard  to  the  trade  in  arms
and  spirits,  and  to  the  matters  dealt  with  in
he  General  Act  of  Berlin  of  February  26,  1885,
De  General  Aci  of  Brussels  of  July  2,  1890,  and
the  conventions  completing  or  mocifying  the
vuame.

Article  127.

The  native  inhabttants  of  the  former  German
#vversen  pos#sesslons  ehall  be  entitled  to  the
diolomatic  protection  of  the  Governments  oxerdeug
  authority  over  those  territories.

SECTITON  I.
CHINA.

Article  128.

German)  renounces  in  favour  of  China  all
benctits  and  privileges  resulting  from  the  provisions
  of  the  final  Protocol  signod  at  Peking  on
September  7,  1901,  and  from  all  annexes,
notes  and  documents  supplementary  thereto.  She.
likewise  renouncos  in  favour  of  China  any  claim
to  indomnities  accruing  thereunder  subsequent  to
March  14,  1917.
