SECTITON  IV.
LIBERIA.

Article  138.

L'Allemagne  renonce  à  tous  droits  et  privi-Iages
  résultant  des  arrangements  de  1911  et  1912
concernant  le  Liberia,  et  en  particulier  au  droit
de  nommer  un  receveur  des  douanes  allemand  en
Liberia.  #

Elle  déclare,  en  outre,  renoncer  à  toute  demande
  de  participer,  en  quoi  qdue  ce  soit,  aux
mesures  qui  pourraient  etre  adoptées  pour  la
reconstitution  du  Liberia.

Article  139.
L’Allemagne  reconnait  comme  caducs,  à  dater
du  4  aodt  1917,  tous  les  traites  et  arrangemente
eonclus  par  elle  avec  le  Liberia.

Articke  140.

Les  biens,  droits  et  intéröts  appartenant  en
Tiberia  à  des  Allemands,  seront  reglés  conformément
  à  la  Partie  X  (Clauses  6conomiques)  du
Drésent  Treité.

SECITION  V.
MARCC.

Article  141.

L'Allemagne  renonce  à  tous  droeits.  titres  ou
privilèges  résultant  à  son  Profit  de  I’Acte  général
Algesiras  du  7  avril  1906,  dos  Accords  franco--allemands
  du  9  février  1909  er  du  4  novembre
1911.  Tous  les  traités,  accords.  arrangements  ou
contrats  passés  par  elle  avec  IEmpie  chérifien
sont  tenus  pour  abrogés  depuis  le  3  aoũt  1914.

En  aucun  cas,  I’Allemarne  ne  pourra  se  prévaloir
  de  ces  acres  et  elle  vd’enzage  à  M'inrervenir,
en  aucune  facon,  dang  les  néuoclatlons  qui
Drurront  avoir  lieu  entre  la  France  et  les  autres
Puussances  relativement  au  Maroc.

SECTTON  ITV.
LTIBERIA.

Article  136.

Germeany  renounces  all  rights  and  privileges
arising  from  the  arrangemonts  of  1911  and  1912
regarding  Liberia,  and  particularly  the  right  to
nommate  a  German  Receiver  of  Customs  in
Liberia.

She  further  renounces  all  claim  to  participato
in  any  measures  whatsoever  which  may  be
adopted  for  the  rehabilitation  of  Liberia.

Article  139.
Germany  recognizes  that  all  treaties  and  arrungemente
  between  her  and  Liberia  terminatel
####  from  August  4,  1917.

Arkicke  140.

The  property.  rights  and  interests  of  Germans,
  in  Liberia  shall  be  dealt  with  in  accorde#nce
  with  Part  X  (Economie  Clauses)  of  the
present  Treaty.

SECTITON  V.
MOROCCO.

Article  141.

Germeny  renounces  all  rights,  titles  and
brivileges  conferred  on  her  by  the  General  Act
eaf  Algeciras  of  April  7.  1906,  and  by  the  Franco-German
  Agreements  of  February  9,  1909  and
November  4.  1911.  A.lI  treaties,  agreemenis,
rangements  and  contructs  concluded  by  her
th  the  Sheriffan  Empire  are  regarded  #8
abrogated  as  from  August  3,  1914.

In  no  case  can  Germazy  take  adrantage  ol
thene  instruments  and  she  undertakes  not  to
imrervene  in  any  way  in  negotiations  relatinz
to  Morocco  which  may  take  placo  between  Franco
and  tho  other  Powors.
