Article  145.

Le  Gouvernement  allemand  assurera  le
transfert,  à  la  personne  qui  sera  désignée  par  le
dlouvernement  français,  des  actions  qui  représentent
  la  part  de  I'Allemagne  dans  le  capital  de
la  Banque  d’Etat  du  Maroc.  La  valeur  de  ces
actions,  indiquée  par  la  Commission  des  Réparations,
  sera  payée  à  cotte  Commission  pour  etre
portée  au  crédit  de  IAllemagne  dans  le  compte  des
sommes  dues  pour  réparations.  II  appartiendra
au  Gouvernement  allemand  Tindemniser  de  co
chef  ses  ressortissants.

Ce  translert  aura  lieu  sans  préjudice  du

remboursement  des  dettes  due  les  ressortissants
allemands  auraient  contractées  envers  la  Banque
#Etat  du  Maroc.

Les  marchandises  marocaines  bénsficieront  à
TPentrée  en  Allemagne  du  régime  appliqus  aux
marchandises  francaises.

SECTILON  VI.
EGCYPTE.
Article  147.

L'Allemagne  déclare  reconnaftre  le  protectorat
proclamé  sur  I'Egypte  par  la  Grande-Bretagne  le
18  décembre  1914  et  renoncer  au  régime  des
capitulations  en  Egypte.

Cette  renonciation  prendra  date  du  4  —

1914.

Article  148.

Tous  les  traités,  accords,  arrangements  ou
contrats  passés  par  IAllemagne  avec  DEgypte,
sont  tenus  pour  abrogés  depuis  le  4  aocot  1914.

En  aucun  cas,  l’Allemagne  ne  pourra  se
préraloir  de  ces  actes  et  elle  s'engage  à  winter--venir
  en  aucune  facon  dans  les  négociations  qui
pourront  avoir  lieu  entre  la  Grande-Bretagne  et
les  autres  Puissances  relativement  à  IEgypte.

Article  145.

The  German  Government  shall  ensure  the
transfer  to  a  person  nominated  by  the  French
Government  of  the  shares  representing  Germany's
  portion  of  the  capital  of  the  State  Bank
of  Morocco.  The  value  of  these  shares,  as  assessed
  by  the  Reparation  Commission,  shall  be
paid  to  the  Reparation  Commission  for  the
credit  of  Germany  on  account  of  the  sums  due  for
reparation.  The  German  Government  ehall  be
responsible  for  indemnifying  its  nationals  so
dispossessed.

This  transfer  will  take  place  without  prefudice
  to  the  repayment  of  debts  which  German
nationals  may  have  contracted  towards  the
State  Bank  of  Morocco.

Article  146.
Moroccan  goods  entering  Germany  shall
enjoy  the  treatment  accorded  to  French  goods.

SECTILON  VI.
EGVPT.
Article  147.

Germany  declares  that  she  recognises  tho
Protectorate  proclaimed  over  Egypt  by  Great
„Britain  on  December  18,  1914,  and  that  she
renounces  the  régime  of  the  Capitulations  in
Egypt.

This  renunciation  shall  take  effect  as  from
August  4,  1914.

Article  148.

All  treatios,  agreements,  arrangements  and.
eontracts  concluded  by  Germany  with  Egypt  aro
regarded  as  abrogated  as  from  August  4,  1914.

In  no  case  can  Germany  avail  herself  of  these
instruments  and  she  undertakes  not  to  intervene
in  any  way  in  negotiations  relating  to  Egypt
which  may  take  place  between  Great  Britain  and
the  other  Powers.
