which  Germany  is  allowed  to  retain  must  be
notified  immediately  by  the  German  Govornment
to  the  Governments  ol  the  Principal  Allied  and
Associated  Powers,  and  will  constilule  maximum
amounts  which  may  not  be  oxcecded.

Within  two  months  from  the  coming  into
force  of  the  present  Treaty,  the  maximum  stock
of  ammunition  for  these  guns  will  be  roduced  to,
and  maintained  at,  the  following  uniform  rales:—

filleen  hundred  rounds  per  picce  for  those  the

calibre  of  which  is  10.5  cm.  and  under:  lire
hundred  rounds  per  piece  for  those  ol  higher  calibre.


Articke  766.

Tho  manufackure  of  arms,  munitions,  or  anr
war  materianl,  shall  only  be  carricd  out  in  foctorios
  or  works  the  location  of  which  shall  be  communicated
  to  and  oapproved  by  the  Governments  of
the  Prineipal  Allicd  and  Associaled  Powecrs,  and
ihe  number  of  which  they  retain  the  right  to
restrict.

Within  three  months  from  the  coming  into

lorco  of  the  present  Treaty,  all  other  cstablislments

  for  the  manufacture,  preparation,  storage
or  dosign  of  arms,  munitions,  or  any  war  material

whatever  shall  be  closod  down.  Tho  samc  apllies
to  all  arsonals  except  those  uscd  as  depots  for  tho

authorised  stocks  of  munitions.  Within  tihe  some
period  the  personnel  of  these  arschals  win  be
dismissed.

Article  169.

Within  two  months  from  llio  coming  into  force
of  the  presont  Treaty  German  arms,  munitions  and
war  material,  including  anti-aircralt  material.
