L'emploi  des  gaz  asphrxiants,  toxiques  ou
kimilaires.  ninsi  due  de  tous  liquides,  matières  ou
Drocèddés  analogucs,  étant  prohibé,  la  fabrication
l  ’importation  en  sont  rigoureusement  interdiles
#en  Allemat#nc.

I1  en  est  de  meme  du  matcricl  apécialement
diestiné  à  la  fabrication,  à  la  conserration  ou  à
lusage  desdits  produits  ou  procödés.

Sont  éCgaolement  prohibées  la  sabrication  et
T’importation  en  Allemagne  des  chars  blindés,
lanks  ou  de  tout  autre  engin  similaire  pouvant
vrervir  à  des  butls  de  guerre.

The  surrender  in  question  will  be  effected  at
such  points  in  Gorman  territory  as  may  be  selected
  by  the  said  Governments.

Within  the  same  period  arms,  munitions  and
war  material,  including  anti-aircraft  material,  ol
origin  other  than  German,  in  whatever  slate  thoy
may  be,  will  bo  delivered  to  the  said  Gorernments,
  who  will  decide  as  to  their  disposal.

Arms  and  munitions  which  on  account  ok  the
successive  reductions  in  the  strength  of  the  German
  army  become  in  oucess  of  the  amounts  authorized
  by  Tables  II  and  III  annexed  to  this
Scction  must  be  handed  over  in  the  manner  loid
down  abovo  within  such  periods  as  may  be  decided
by  the  Conferences  referred  to  in  Article  163.

Importation  into  Germany  of  arms,  munitions
and  war  material  of  every  kind  shall  be  strichlr
Prohibited.  «  «

The  same  applies  to  the  manufacture  for,  and
export  to,  foreign  countries  of  arms,  munitions
and  war  material  of  overy  kind.

Artiele  171.

The  use  of  asphyxialing,  poisonous  or  other
gases  and  all  analogous  liquids,  materials  or  derices
  being  prohibited,  thoir  manulacture  and  im
portation  are  strictly  forbidden  in  Germang.

Tho  sumce  applies  to  materials  sbecially  intended
  for  the  manufacturc,  storage  and  use  ol  the
said  products  or  dericcs.

The  manufackure  and  the  importation  into  Germany
  of  armoured  cars,  tanks  and  all  similar  constructions
  suitahle  for  use  in  war  are  also  prohibited.
