Sauf  en  eas  de  perte  du  baätiment,  les  unités  de
différontes  classes  ne  pourront  etre  remplacées
qu'après  une  Période  de:

20  ans  pour  les  cuirassés  et  croiseurs;

15  ans  pour  les  destroyers  et  torpilleurs,  à
compter  du  lancement  du  bätiment.

Artickhe  191.
La  construction  et  I’acquisition  de  tous  bätimenls
  sous-marins,  meme  de  commerce,  seront  interdits
  en  Allemagne.

Article  192.  6

Les  bätiments  armés  de  la  flotte  allemande  ne
pourront  avoir,  à  bord  ou  en  réserve,  due  les
duantités  d'armes,  de  munitions  et  de  matériel  de
guerre,  fixées  par  les  Principales  Puissances  alliées
  et  associées.

Dans  le  mois  qui  suivra  la  fixation  des  quantités
  ci-dessus  prévues,  les  armes,  munitions  et  le
matériel  de  guerre  de  toute  nature  y  compris  les
mines  et  loes  torpilles,  qui  se  trouvent  actuellement
  entre  les  mains  du  Gouvernement  allemand
et  qui  sont  en  excédent  desdites  quantités,  seront
livré#  aux  Gouvernements  desdites  Puissances
dans  tels  lieux  que  ceux-ci  désigneront.  La  destruction
  ou  mise  hors  d'usage  en  sera  effectute.

Tous  autres  stocks,  dépöts  ou  réserves
d’armes,  de  munitions  ou  de  matériel  naval  de
guerre  de  qduelque  nature  due  ce  soit,  sont
interdits.

La  fabrication  sur  le  territoire  allemand  et
Texportation  desdits  articles  à  destination  de
Pays  étrangers  seront  prohibées.

Artiele  193.

Des  la  mise  en  vigucur  du  présent  Traité,
I’Allemagne  procédera  sans  délai  au  dragage  des
mines  dans  les  zones  suivantes  de  la  mer  du  Nord,
e#iétendant  à  PEst  du  4°  00°  de  longitude  Est  de
Greenwich:  .

Except  where  a  ship  has  been  lost,  unite  ol
the  different  classes  shall  only  be  replaced  at  tho
end  of  a  period  of  twenty  years  in  the  Ccase  ol
battleships  and  cruisers,  and  fifteen  years  in  the
case  of  destroyers  and  torpedo  boats,  counting
from  the  launching  of  the  ship.

Artiele  191.
The  construction  or  acquisition  of  any  eubmarine,
  even  for  commercial  purposes,  shall  be
forbidden  in  Germany.

Article  192.

The  warships  in  commission  of  the  German
fleet  must  have  on  board  or  in  reserve  only  the
allowance  of  arms,  munitions  and  war  material
fixed  by  the  Principal  Allied  and  Asscciated
Powers.  «

tities  as  above,  arms,  munitions  and  war  material
of  all  kinde,  including  mines  and  torpedoes,  now
in  the  hands  of  the  German  Government  and  in
excess  of  the  said  quantities,  shall  be  surrendered
to  the  Governments  of  the  said  Powers  at  places
to  be  indicated  by  them.  Such  arms,  munitions
and  war  material  will  be  destroyed  or  rendered
useless.

All  other  stoöks,  depots  or  reserves  of  arms,
munitions  or  naval  war  material  of  all  kinds  are
forbidden.

The  manufacture  of  these  articles  in  German
territory  for,  and  their  export  to,  foreign  countries
  shall  be  forbidden.

Artiele  193.

On  the  coming  into  force  of  the  present  Treaty
Germany  will  forthwith  sweep  up  tle  mines  in
the  following  areas  in  the  North  Sea  to  the  eastward
  of  longitude  4°  00’°E.  of  Greenwich:

(1)  Between  parallels  of  latitude  58°  00  N.
and  59°  00°  N.;  (2)  To  the  northward  of  latitude
60°  30  N.
