PRISONNIERS  DE  GUERRE.

rticle  214.

Le  rapatriement  des  prisonniers  de  guerre  et
internes  civils  aura  lieu  aussitöt  que  possible
après  la  mise  en  vigueur  du  présent  Traité  et
aera  eflectus  avec  la  plus  grande  rapidité.

Arkicle  215.

Le  rapatriement  des  prisonniers  de  guerre  et
internés  civils  allemands  sera,  dans  les  conditions
fixées  à  Particle  214,  assuré  par  les  soins  d’une
Commission  composée  de  Représentants  des  Puissances
  allieés  et  associées  Tune  part  et  du  Gouvernement
  allemand  d’autre  part.

Pour  chacune  des  Puissancos  alliées  et  associées,
  uno  Sous-Commission  composée  uniquement
de  Représentants  de  la  Puissance  intéressée  et  de
Délégués  du  Gouvernement  allemand  règlera  les
détails  d’exécution  du  rapatriement  des  prison--niers
  de  guerre.

Arkticke  216.

Des  leur  remise  aux  mains  des  autorités  allemandes,
  les  prisonniers  de  guerre  et  internés  civils
  devront,  par  les  soins  de  ces  dernieères,  stre
sans  délai  renvoyés  dans  leurs  foyers.

Ceux  d’ontre  eux,  dont  le  domieile  d’avantguerre
  se  trouve  sur  les  territoires  occupés  par
les  troupes  des  Puissances  alliées  et  associées,  devront
  é6galement  y  ötro  renvoyés,  sous  réserve  de

SECTION  I.
PRISONERS  OF  WAR.

Article  214.

The  repatriation  of  prisoners  of  war  and
interned  civilians  shall  take  place  as  soon  as
Possible  after  the  coming  into  force  of  the  present
Treaty  and  shall  be  carried  out  with  the  greatest
rapidity.

Article  215.

The  repatriation  of  German  prisoners  of  war
and  interned  civilians  shall,  in  accordance  with
article  214,  be  carried  out  by  a  Commission
composed  of  representatives  of  the  Allied  and
Associated  Powers  on  the  one  part  and  of  the
German  Government  on  the  other  part.

For  each  of  ihe  Alliec  and  Agsscciated
Powers  a  Sub-Commission,  composed  exclusivel
of  Representatives  of  the  interested  Power  and  ol
Delegates  of  the  German  Government,  shall
regulate  the  details  of  carrying  into  eflect  #e
repatriation  of  the  prisoners  of  war.

Article  216.

From  the  time  of  their  delivery  into  tbo
hande  of  the  German  authorities  the  prisonen
of  war  and  interned  civilians  are  to  be  returned
without  delay  to  their  homes  by  the  sair
authorities.

Those  amongst  them  who  before  the  war
were  habitually  resident  in  territory  occupiel
by  the  troops  of  the  Allied  and  Asscciatel
Powors  are  likewise  to  be  sent  to  their  homes,
