Ne  seront  pas  portés  au  crédit  du  Gouvernement
  allemand  les  biens  appartenant  aux  Gouvernements
  alliés  et  associés  ou  à  leurs  rossortissants
  rendus  ou  livrés  à  PTidentique  en  exécution
  des  Conventions  d’armistice.

Articke  251.

Le  privilège  établi  par  Tarticle  248  s'exercer#a.
dans  Pordre  suivant,  sous  la  réserve  mentionnée
au  dernier  paragraphe  du  présent  article

JLe  coũt  des  armées  Toccupation,  tel  qu’il
#cst  défini  à  Darticle  249,  pendant  1°Armistice  et
ses  prolongations;

5)  Le  coüt  de  toutes  armées  d’occupation,  tel
qu'il  est  defini  à  PTarticle  249,  après  la  mise  en
vigueur  du  présent  Traité;

c)  Lo  montant  des  réparations  résultant  du
Drésent  Traité  ou  des  traités  ct  conventions  com-Dlémentaires;


d)  Toutes  autres  charges  incombant  à  I’Allemagne
  en  vertu  des  Conrentions  d’Armistice,  du
Présent  Traité  ou  des  traités  et  conventions  com-Dlémentaires.


Le  payement  du  ravitaillement  de  IAllemagne
en  denrées  alimentaires  et  en  matières  premières
et  tous  autres  payements  à  ellectuer  par  lAllemagne,
  dans  la  mesure  ou  les  Gouvernements
alliés  et  associés  les  auront  jugés  nécessaires  pour
permettre  à  I/Allemagne  de  faire  facc  à  son  obligation
  do  réparer,  auront  priorilé  dans  la  mesure
et  dans  les  conditions  qui  ont  été6  ou  pourront,
ẽtre  établies  par  les  Gouvernements  alliés  ot
associés.

Artiche  252.

Los  dispositions  qui  préccdent  ne  portent  pas
atteinte  au  droit  de  chacune  des  Puissances
alliées  ct  associces  de  disposer  des  avoirs  et  pfopriétés
  ennemis  se  trourant  sous  leur  juridiction
au  moment  de  la  mise  en  vigucur  du  présent
Traité.

Property  belonging  to  the  Allied  and  Associated
  Governments  or  their  nationals  restored
or  surrendered  under  the  Armistice  Agreements
in  specie  shall  not  bo  credited  to  the  German
Government.

Article  251.

The  priority  of  the  charges  established  by
Article  248  shall,  subject  to  the  qualilcations
made  below,  be  as  follows:;

(a)  The  cost  of  the  armies  of  ocecupation  as
defined  under  Article  249  during  tho
Armistice  and  its  ertensions;

The  cost  of  any  armies  of  occupation  os
definec  under  Article  249  after  tho
coming  into  forco  of  the  present  Treaty;

(c)  The  cost  of  reparation  arising  out  ol

the  present  Treaty  or  any  treaties  or
Conventions  supplementary  thereto;
(d)  The  cost  of  all  other  obligations  incumbent
  on  Germany  under  the  Armistico
Conventions  or  under  this  Treaty  or  any
treaties  or  conventions  supplementary
thereto.

The  payment  for  such  supplies  of  food  anl
raw  material  for  Germany  and  such  other  payments
  as  may  be  judged  by  the  Allied  and  Associated
  Powers  to  be  essential  to  cnable  Germanr
to  meet  her  obligations  in  respect  of  reparatioo
will  havo  priority  to  the  extent  and  upon  the
conditions  which  have  been  or  may  be  determined
by  the  Governments  of  the  said  Powers.

Articke  2532.

The  right  of  each  ol  the  Allied  and  Assoeiated
  Powers  to  dispose  of  enemy  assets  and  property
  within  its  jurisdietion  at  tho  date  of  the
coming  into  force  of  the  present  Treaty  is  nos
allected  by  the  foregoing  provisions.
