Articles  260.
Sans  qu'il  soit  porté  atteinte  à  la  renonciation,
  par  I’Allemagne,  en  vertu  du  présent

Traité,  à  des  droits  lui  appartenant  ou  appartenant

  à  ses  nationaux,  la  Commission  des  réparations
  pourra,  dans  un  dlai  d'un  an  à  compter
de  la  mise  en  vigueur  du  présent  Traité,  exiger
que  Allemagno  acquière  tous  droits  ou  intéréts
de  ressortissants  allemands  dans  toute  entre--
  Prise  Tutilité  publique  ou  dans  toute  concession
en  Russie,  en  Chine,  en  Autriche,  en  Hongrie,
en  Bulgarie,  en  Turaquie,  dans  les  possessions  et.
dépendances  de  ces  Etats,  ou  sur  un  territoire
qui,  ayant  appartenu  à  I’Allemagne  ou  à  ses
alliés,  doit  èétre  cédé  ou  administré  par  un  mandataire
  en  vertu  du  présent  Traité;  le  Gouvernement
  allemand  devra,  d’autre  part,  dans  un  délai
de  six  mois  à  compter  de  la  date  de  la  demande,
etransférer  à  la  Commission  des  réparations  la
totalité  de  coes  droits  et  intérsts  et  de  tous  les
droits  et  intérets  que  IAllemagne  peut  elle-meéme
posseéder.

L'Allemagne  supportera  la  charge  d’indemniser
  ses  ressortissants  ainei  dépossédés  et  la
Commission  des  réparations  portera  au  crédit
de  IAllemagne,  à  valoir  sur  les  sommes  dues  au
litre  des  réparatione,  les  sommes  correspondant
à  la  valeur  des  droits  et  intérèts  transférés,  telle
du’'’olle  sera  fixée  par  la  Commission  des  réparations.
  Le  Gouvernement  allemand,  dans  un  délai
do  six  mois  à  dater  de  la  mise  en  vigueur  du
Présent  Traité,  devra  communiqduer  à  la  Commission
  des  réparations  la  liste  de  tous  les
droits  et  intérèts  en  question,  qu'’ils  soient
acquis,  éventucls,  ou  non  encore  ezxecrcés,  et
renoncera  en  faveur  des  Puissances  allices  et
associées,  en  son  nom  et  en  celui  de  ses  ressortissants,
  à  tous  droits  et  intéröts  susvisés  qui
n'auraient  pas  été  mentionnés  sur  la  listo  eidessus.

Articls  260.

Without  prejudice  to  the  renunciation  of  any
rights  br  Germany  on  behalf  of  herself  or  of  hor
nationals  in  the  other  provisions  of  the  present
Treaty,  the  Reparation  Commission  ma)y  within
one  year  from  the  coming  into  force  of  the  present
Treaty  demand  that  the  German  Governrmen
become  possessed  of  any  rights  and  interests  of
German  nationals  in  any  public  utility  undertaking
  or  in  any  concession  operating  in  Russia,
China,  Turkey,  Austria,  Hungary  and  Bulgarie,
or  in  the  pessessions  or  dependencies  of  theso
States  or  in  any  territory  formerly  belonging  to
Germany  or  her  allies,  to  be  ceded  by  Germany  or
her  allies  to  any  Power  er  to  be  administered  by  a
Mandatory  under  the  present  Treaty,  and  may
require  thdt  the  German  Government  transter,
within  sik  months  of  tbe  date  of  demand,  all  such
rights  and  interests  and  any  similar  rights  and
interests  the  German  Government  may  itsell
possess  to  the  Reparation  Commission.

Germany  shall  be  responsible  for  indemnifying
her  nationals  so  dispossessed,  and  the  Reparation
Commission  shall  credit  Germany,  on  account  ol
sums  due  for  reparation,  with  such  sums  in
respect  of  the  value  of  the  transferred  righte  and
interests  as  may  be  assesscd  by  the  Reparation
Commission,  and  the  German  Government  sball,
within  six  months  from  the  coming  into  force  of
the  present  Treaty,  communicate  to  the  Reparation
  Commission  all  such  rights  and  interests,
whether  already  granted,  contingent  or  not  Fet
exercised,  and  ehall  renounco  on  behalf  of  itselk
and  its  nationals  in  favour  of  the  Allied  and
Associated  Powers  all  such  rights  and  interests
which  have  not  been  so  communicated.
