compies,  sous  réserve  des  dispositions  financières
du  présent  Traité.  Les  taxes  qui  pourraient  stre
nécessaires  ne  seront,  en  aucun  cas,  perçues  par
la  Hongrie.
Artiele  351.

Au  cas  oU  IEtat  tchéco-slovaque,  I’Etat
Serbe-Croate-Slorene  ou  la  Roumanie  entre-Prondraient,
  après  autorisation  ou  sur  mandat

  de  la  Commission  internationale,  des
travaur  d’'aménagement,  d’'amélioration,  de
barrage  ou  autres  sur  une  section  du

résensu  fluvial  formant  frontidre,  ces  Etats  jouiraient
  sur  la  rive  opposce,  ainsi  que  sur  la  partie
du  lit  située  hors  de  leur  territoire,  de  toutes  les
facilités  néecessaires  pour  procéder  aux  études,  à
Toxécution  et  à  T’entretien  de  ces  travaux.

Artiecle  352.

L'Allemagne  sera  tenue,  vis-à-vis  de  la  Commission
  européenne  du  Danube,  à  toutes  restitulions,
  réparations  et  indemnités  pour  les  dommages
  subis  pendant  la  guerre  par  cette  Commission.


Article  353.

Dans  le  cas  de  la  construction  dr’une  voie
navigable  à  grande  section  Rhin-Danube,  1°Allemagne
  s'engage  à  appliquer  à  ladite  voie  navigable
le  régime  prévu  aux  articles  332  à  338.

CHAPITRE  IV.
CI.  AUSES  REILATIVES  AU  RIIIN  Er  A  A  XOSELLE.

Arkiche  334.

Des  la  mise  en  vigueur  du  présent  Traité,  la
Conrention  de  Mannheim  du  17  octobre  1868,  y
compris  son  protocole  de  clöture,  continuera  à
régler  la  navigation  du  Rhin,  dans  les  conditions
lixées  ci-apres.

Au  cas  d'opposition  entre  certaines  des  dispositions

  de  ladite  Convention  et  les  dispositions-1234



for  the  settlement  of  accounts  subject  to  the  financial
  provisions  of  the  present  Treaty.  Charges
which  may  be  necessary  shall  in  no  case  be  levied
by  Hungary.

Arkiels  351.

Should  the  Czecho-Slovak  State,  the  Serb-Croat-Slovene
  State  or  Roumania,  with  the
authorisation  of  or  under  mandate  from  the  International
  Commission,  undertake  maintenance,
improvement,  weir,  or  other  works  on  a  part  of
the  river  system  which  forme  a  frontier,  these
States  shall  enioy  on  the  opposite  bank,  and  also
on  the  part  of  the  bed  which  is  outside  their
territory,  all  necessary  facilities  for  the  survey,
oxecution  and  maintenance  of  such  works.

Arriele  352.

Germany  shall  be  obliged  to  make  to  the  European
  Commission  of  the  Danube  all  restitutions,
reparations  and  indemnities  for  damages  inflicted
on  the  Commission  during  the  war.

Arkicle  353.

Should  a  deep-draught  Rhine-Danube  navigable
  waterway  be  constructed,  Germany  undertakes
  to  apply  thereto  the  régime  prescribed  in
Articles  332  to  338.

CHAPTER  IV.
CLTAUSES  RELATING  TO  THE  RIIINE  AND  TIIE
MOSELLE.

Artiche  354.

As  from  the  coming  into  force  of  the  present
Treaty,  the  Convention  of  Mannheim  of  OCctober
  17,  1868,  together  with  the  Final  Protocol
thereof,  shall  continue  to  govern  navigation  on
the  Rhine,  subject  to  the  conditions  hereinafter
laid  down.

In  the  event  of  any  provisions  of  the  said
Convontion  being  in  conflict  with  those  laid  dow#n
