  de  la  Convention  générale  prévaudront.

Dans  un  délai  maximum  de  six  mois  à  dater
do  la  mise  en  vigueur  du  présent  Trailé,  la  Commission
  centrale  visée  à  T’article  355  se  réunira
pour  tablir  un  projet  de  revision  de  la  Convention
  de  Mannheim.  Ce  projet  devra  stre  rédigé  en
conformité  des  dispositions  de  la  Convention  générale,
  si  elle  est  intervenue  à  cette  date,  et  sera
soumis  auxf  Puissances  représentées  à  la  Commission
  centrale.

L’Allemagne  déclare  donner,  des  à  présent,
son  adhésion  au  projet  qui  sera  établi  de  la
moaonidre  indiquée  ci-dessus.

En  outre,  les  modifications  visées  dans  les  articles
  suivants  seront  immédiatement  apportées
à  la  Convention  de  Mannheim.

Les  Puissances  alliées  et  associées  se  réservent
lo  droit  de  s'entendre  à  cet  6gard  avec  les  Pays-Bas.
  L'’Allemagne  s'’engage,  des  à  présent,  si  elle
en  est  requise,  à  donner  son  adhésion  à  tout
aceord  de  cette  nature.

Artiecle  355.

La  Commission  centrale,  prévue  par  la  Convention
  de  Mannheim,  comprendra  19  membres,
saroir:

2  représentants  des  Pays-Bas;

2  représentants  de  la  Suisse;

4  représentants  des  Etats  allemands  riverains
  du  fleuve;

4  représentants  de  la  France,  qui  nommera
en  plus  le  Président  de  la  Commission;

2  représentants  de  la  Grande-Bretagne;
2  représcntants  de  L’Italie;
2  représentants  de  la  Belgique.

Le  siège  de  la  Commission  centrale  sera  flré
à  Strasbourg.

by  ihe  General  Convention  referred  to  in  Article
  338  (which  shall  apply  to  the  Rhine)  the
Provisions  of  the  General  Convention  shall
Prevail.  «

Within  a  maximum  period  of  six  months
from  the  coming  into  force  of  the  present  Treaty,
the  Central  Commission  referred  to  in  Article  355
shall  meet  to  draw  up  a  project  of  revision  of
the  Convention  of  Mannheim.  This  project  shall
be  drawn  up  in  harmony  with  the  provisions  of
ihe  General  Convention  referred  to  above,  should
this  have  been  concluded  by  that  time,  and  shall
be  submitted  to  the  Powers  represented  on  the
Central  Commission.  Germany  hereby  agrees  to
adhere  to  the  project  so  drawn  up.

Further,  the  modifications  set  out  in  the
following  Articles  shall  immediately  be  made  in
the  Convention  of  Mannheim.

The  Allied  and  Associated  Powers  reserve  to
themselves  the  right  to  arrive  at  an  understanding
  in  this  connection  with  Holland,  and  Gormany
  hereby  agrees  to  acceed  if  required  to  any
such  understanding.  «

Artiele  355.

The  Central  Commission  provided  for  in  the
Convention  of  Mannheim  shall  consist  of  nineteen
members,  viz.:

2  representatives  of  the  Netherlands;

2  representatives  of  Switzerland;

4  representatives  of  German  riparian
States;

4  representatives  of  France,  which  in
addition  shall  appoint  the  President  of
the  Commission;

2  representatives  of  Great  Britain;

2  representatives  of  Italy;

2  representatives  of  Belgium.

The  headquarters  of  the  Central  Commission
shall  be  at  Strasburg.
