barcours  sur  les  mémes  lignes.  En  aucun  cas,  les
prix  applicables  à  ces  services  directs  ne  seront
supéricurs  aux  prix  perçus,  sur  le  meme  parcours,
pour  les  services  intérieurs  allemands,  effectués
dans  les  memcs  conditions  de  vitessc  et  de  confort.
Les  tarils  applicables,  dans  les  memes  conditions
  de  vilosse  et  de  confort,  au  transport  des
émigrants  sur  les  chemins  de  fer  allemands  à  destinution
  ou  en  provenance  des  ports  des  Puissances
  alliées  et  associéos,  ne  pourront  jamais
rossortir  à  une  taxe  kilométriquc  supérieure  à
celle  des  tariss  les  plus  favorables,  compte  tenu
de  toules  primes  ou  ristournes,  dont  bénéficieraient,
  sur  lesdits  chemins  de  (er,  les  Emigrants  à
destination  ou  en  provenance  d’autres  ports  quelconducs.



Article  368.

L'Allemagne  s'engage  à  n'adopter  aueuno  mesuro
  technique,  fiscale  ou  administrative,  telle  que
lo  visito  en  douane,  les  mesures  de  police  génélale,
  de  policc  sanitaire  ou  de  contröle,  qui  serait
spéciale  aux  services  directs  prévus  à  Tarticle
Précédent  ou  aux  transports  d’émigrants.  à  destination
  ou  en  provenance  des  ports  des  Puissances
alliées  et  associées,  ct  qui  aurait  pour  eftet
d’entraver  ou  de  retarder  ces  serviccs.

Articke  369.

En  cas  de  transport,  partic  par  chemin  de  ser
et  partic  par  navigation  intérieure,  avec  ou  sans
lettre  de  voiture  directe,  les  stipulations  qui  précèdent
  seront  applicables  à  la  partie  du  trajet
cllectluée  par  chemin  do  ker.

CHAPITRE  II.
MATEniEI  ROUI.  AXT.
Artitele  370.

L'Allemagne  s'engage  à  ce  quo  les  wagons  allemands
  soient  munis  de  dispositifs  permettant:

abplicable  to  such  through  services  shall  not  in
any  case  be  higher  than  the  rates  collected  on
German  internal  servicos  for  the  same  disl  ance,
under  the  same  conditions  ol  speed  and  comfort.

The  tariffs  applicable  under  the  samc  conditions
  of  speed  and  comfort  to  the  trarsportation
of  emigrants  going  to  or  coming  from  ports  of
ihe  Allied  and  Associated  Powers,  and  using  the
German  railways,  shall  not  be  at  a  higher  kilometric
  rate  than  the  most  favourable  tariffs
(drawbacks  and  rebales  being  taken  into  account)
enjoyed  on  the  said  railways  by  emigrants  going
to  or  coming  from  any  other  ports.  ·

Artiche  368.

Germany  shall  not  apply  specially  to  such
through  services,  or  to  the  transportation  of
emigrants  going  to  or  coming  from  the  ports  of
tlhe  Allied  and  Associated  Powers,  any  techmical.
fiscal  or  administrative  measures,  such  as
measures  of  customs  examination,  general  police,
sanitary  police,  and  control,  the  result  of  which
waould  be  to  impede  or  delay  such  serviccs.

Artiele  369.

In  case  of  transport  partly  by  rail  and  partlir
by  internal  navigation,  with  or  without  through
way-bill,  the  preceding  Articles  shall  apply  to  lhe
Dart  of  the  journey  performed  by  rail.

Germany  undertakes  that  German  wagons
shall  be  fitted  with  apparatus  allowing:
