Des  stipulations  particulières  décideront  toutes
autres  questions  naissant  de  la  remise  qui  sera
faite  au  Danemark  de  tout  ou  partie  du  territoire
dont  le  Traité  du  30  octobre  1864  lui  avait  imposé
D’abandon.

SECTION  XIII.

HELIGOLAND.
Article  115.

Les  fortifications,  les  éCtablissements  militaires,
les  ports  des  les  d’Héligoland  et  de  Dune,  seront
détruits  sous  le  contröle  des  Principaux  Gouvernements
  alliés,  par  les  soins  et  aux  frais  du  Gouvernement
  allemand,  dans  le  délai  dui  sera  fixé  par
les4its  Gouvernements.

Par  „ports“  on  devra  comprendre  le  mole  Nord-Est,
  le  mur  der  I°Ouest,  les  brise-lames  extérieurs
et  intérieurs,  les  terrains  gagnés  sur  la  mer  à  l'intérieur
  de  ces  brise-lames,  ainsi  due  tous  les  travaux,
  fortifications  et  constructions  d’ordre  naval
et  militaire,  achevés  ou  en  cours,  à  Dintérieur  des
lignes  joignant  les  positions  ci-dessous,  portées
sur  la  carte  n  126  de  I-’Amiraufé  britannique  du
19  avril  1918:  «

.„L’Allemagne  ne  devra  reconstruire  ni  ces  fortifications
  ni  oes  établissements  militaires,  ni  ces
Ports,  ni  aucun  ouvrage  analogue.

SECTITON  XIV.
RUSSIE  ET  ETA-TS  RUSSES
Article  116.

L'Allemagne  reconnaft  et  s'’engage  à  respecter,
comme  permanente  et  inaliénable,  I’indépendance
de  tous  les  territoires  qui  faisaient  partie  de  I’ancien
Empire  de  Russie  au  ler  acüt  1914.

Conformément  aux  dispositions  insérées  aux
articlIes  259  et  292  des  Parties  IX  (Clauses  financières)
  et  X  (Clauses  6Cconomiques)  du  présent
Traité,  IAllemagne  reconnait  définitivement  l’annulation
  des  Traités  de  Brest-Litovsk,  ainsi  que
de  tous  autres  traités,  accords  ou  conventions
Passés  par  elle  avec  le  Gouvernement  Maximaliste
en  Russie.

Les  Puissances  allikes  et  associces  réservent
expressément  les  droits  de  la  Russie  à  obtenir  de

SECTILON  XIII.

HELICOLAND.
Article  115.

The  fortifications,  military  establishments,  and
harbours  of  the  Islands  of  Heligoland  and  Dune
shall  be  destroyed  under  the  supervision  of
the  Principal  Alliec  Governments  by  German
labour  and  at  the  expense  of  Germany  within  a
period  to  be  determined  by  the  said  Governments.

The  term  barbours'  shall  include  the  nortbeast
  mole,  the  west  wall,  the  outer  and  inner
breakwaters  and  reclaimed  land  within  them,  and
all  naval  and  itar  works,  fortifications  and
buildings,  constructed  or  under  construction,
between  lines  connecting  the  following  positions
taken  from  the  British  Admiralty  chart  No.  126
of  April  19,  1918:

a)  Iat.  54%  10°  49°  N.;  long  7°  53°  39  E.;

b)  —  54°  10“  35“  N.;  —  7e  54°  187  E.;

c)  —  54°  10°  14°“  N.;  —  7°  54°  007  E.;

d)  —  54°  10°  177  N.  —  70°  53°  377  E.;

e)  —  54“  10/  44“  N.;  —  70°  53“  26“  E.

These  fortifications,  military  establishments  and
harbours  shall  not  be  reconstructed  nor  shall  any
similar  works  be  constructed  in  future.

SECTTON  XIV,
RUSSITIA  AND  RUSSIAN  SLTATLES.
Article  116.

Germany  acknowiledges  and  agrees  to  respect
as  Permanent  and  inalienable  the  independence  of
all  the  territories  which  were  part  of  the  former
Russian  Empire  on  August  1,  1914.

In  accodance  with  the  provisions  of  Article
259  of  Part  IX  (Financial  Clauses)  and  Article
292  of  Part  X  (Economic  Clauses)  Germany  docepts
  definitely  the  abrogation  of  the  Brest-Litovsk
  Treaties  and  of  all  other  treaties,  conventions
  and  agreements  entered  into  by  her  with
the  Maximalist  Government  in  Russia.

The  Allied  and  Asscciated  Powers  formally
reserve  the  rights  of  Russia  to  obtain  from  Ger-140
