DROITS  ET  INTERETS  ALLEMANDS.
HORS  DE  LALLEMAGNE.

Article  118.

Hors  de  ses  limites  en  Europe,  telles  dwi’elles
sont  fixées  par  le  présent  Traité,  I'’Allemagne
renonce  à  tous  droits,  titres  ou  privilèges  quelconques
  sur  ou  concernant  tous  territoires  lui
appartenant,  à  elle  ou  à  ses  alliés,  ainsi  qu's  tous
droits,  titres  ou  priwileges  ayant  pu,  à  quelque
titre  que  ce  scit,  lui  appartenir  vis-Avis  des  Puissances
  alliées  et  associées.

L'Allemagne  s'’engage  dés  à  présent  à  reconnaltre
  et  à  agréer  les  mesures  qui  sont  ou  seront
Prises  par  les  Principales  Puissances  alliées  et
associées,  d’'accord,  s’1  y  a  lieu,  avec  les  tierces
Puissances,  en  vue  de  régler  les  conséquences  de
la  disposition  qui  précède.

Spéecialement,  IAllemagne  déclare  agréer  les
stipulations  des  articles  ci-apres,  relatifs  à  certaines
  matieres  particulières.

SECTION  1.

COLONIES  ALLEMANDES.

Article  119.
L'Allemagne  renonce,  en  faveur  des  Principales
Puissances  allices  et  associées,  à  tous  ses  droits
et  titres  sur  ses  possesions  d’outre-mer.

Article  120.

Tous  droits  mobiliers  et  immobiliers  appartenant
  dans  ces  territoires  à  IEmpire  allemand  ou
à  un  Etat  allemand  dquelconque,  passeront  au
Gouvernement  exerçgant  l’autorité  sur  ces  territoires,
  dans  les  conditions  fixées  dans  T’article  257
de  la  Partie  IX  (Clauses  financières)  du  présent
Traité,  Si  des  contestations  venaient  à  s'élever
sur  la  nature  de  ces  droits,  elles  seraient  jugées
souverainement  par  les  tribunaux  locaux.

Article  121.

Les  dispositions  des  Sections  I  et  IV  de  la
Partie  X  (Clauses  économiques)  du  présent  Traité
seront  applicables  en  ce  qui  concerne  ces  territoires,
quelle  due  soit  la  forme  de  gouvernement  adoptée
pour  ces  territoires.

PART  IV.

GERNMAN  RIGHTS  AND  INTERESTS
OUTSIDE  GERMANT:½

Article  118.

In  territory  outside  her  European  frontiers
as  fixed  bythe  present  Treaty,  Germany  renounces
all  rights,  titles  and  privileges  whatever  in  or
over  territory  which  belonged  to  her  or  to  her
allies,  and  all  rights,  titles  and  privileges  whatever
their  origin  which  she  held  as  against  the  Allied.
and  Asscciated  Powers.

Germany  hereby  undertakes  to  recognise  and
to  conform  to  the  measures  which  may  be  taken
now  or  in  the  future  by  the  Principal  Allied  and
Asscciated  Powers,  in  agreement  where  n
with  third  Powers,  in  order  to  carry  the  above
stipulation  into  effect.

Particular  Germany  declares  her  acoeptance
of  the  following  Artioles  relating  to  certain  special
subjects.

SECITION  I.

GERMAN  COLONIES4

Article  119.

Germany  rencunces  in  favour  of  the  Prinoipal
  Allied  and  Associated  Powers  all  her  rights
and  titles  over  her  oversea  possessions.

Article  120.

All  movable  and  immovable  property  in  such
territories  belonging  to  the  German  Empire  or
to  any  German  State  shall  pass  to  the  Government
  exercising  authority  over  such  territcries,
on  the  terms  laid  down  in  Article  257  of  Part  IX
(Financial  Causes)  of  the  present  Treaty.  The
decision  of  the  local  courts  in  any  dispute  as  to
the  nature  of  such  property  shall  be  final.

Article  121.

The  provisions  of  Section  I  and  IV  ef  Part  X
(Economic  Clauses)  of  the  present  Treaty  shall
apply  in  the  case  of  these  territories  whatever
be  the  form  of  Government  adopted  for  them.
