Article  122.

Le  Gouvernement  exerçant  L’autorité  sur  ces
territoires  pourra  prendre  telles  dispositions  qu'il
jugera  nécessaires,  en  ce  qui  concerne  le  rapatriement
  des  nationaux  allemands  qui  s'y  trouvent
et  les  conditions  dans  lesquelles  les  sujets  allemands
  d’'origine  européenne  seront,  ou  non,  autorisés
  à  y  résider,  y  posséder,  y  faire  le  COommerce
ou  y  exercer  une  profession.

Article  123.

Les  dispositions  de  I’article  260  de  la  Partie  IX
(Clauses  financiéères)  du  présent  Traité  s'applidueront
  aux  conventions  passées  avec  des  nationaux
  allemands  pour  l’exécution  ou  I’exploitation
  des  travaux  publics  dans  les  possessions
allemandes  d’'outre-mer,  ainsi  qu'aux  sous-cron-Cessions
  ou  marchés  passés  avec  lesdits  nationaux
en  conséquence  de  Cces  conventions.

Article  124.

I.  Alemagne  prend  à  sa  charge,  suivant  l'évaluation
  qui  sera  présentéee  par  le  Gouvernement
français  et  approuvée  par  la  Commission  des  réarations,

  la  réparation  des  dommages  subis  par
es  ressortissants  français  dans  la  colonie  du  Cameroun
  ou  dans  la  zone  frontière  du  fait  des  actes
des  autorités  civiles  et  militaires  allemandes  et  des
Particuliers  allemands  pendant  la  priode  qui
's4tend  du  ler  janvier  1900  au  ler  aoũt  1914.

Article  125.

L'Allemagne  renonbe  à  tous  droits  issus  des  Conventions
  et  Arrangements  passés  avec  la  France
le  4  novembre  1911  et  le  28  septembre  1912  relativement
  à  I’Afrique  Cquatoriale.  Elle  s'’engage
à  verser  au  Gouvernement  français,  suivant
Tévaluation  dui  sera  présentée  par  ce  Gouvernement
  et  approuvée  par  la  Commission  des  réparations,
  tous  les  cautionnements,  ouvertures  de
Ccompte,  avances,  etc.,  réalisécs  en  vertu  de  ces
aotes  au  profit  de  1°’Allemagne.

Article  126.

L'Allemagne  s'engage  à  reconnaitre  et  agréer
les  Conventions  passées  ou  à  passer  par  les  Puissances
  allices  ou  asscciées  ou  certaines  d’entre  elles
aAvec  toute  autre  Puissance,  relativement  au  commerce
  des  armes  et  des  spirituenx  ainsi  qu’aux
autres  matieéres  traitées  dans  les  Actes  généraux
de  Berlin  du  26  février  1885  et  de  Bruxelles  du
2  juillet  1890  et  les  conventions  qui  les  ont  complétées
  ou  modifiées.

Article  127.

Les  indigèenes  habitant  les  anciennes  Possessions
allemandes  d’outre-mer  auront  droit  à  la  protection
  diplomatique  du  Gouvernement  qui  exercera
Tautorité  sur  ces  territoires.

Article  122.

The  Government  erercising  authority  over
such  territories  may  make  such  provisions  as  it
thinks  fit  which  reference  to  the  repatriation  from
them  of  German  nationals  and  to  the  conditions
upon  which  German  subjects  of  European  crigin
shall,  or  shall  not,  be  allowed  to  reside,  hold  property,
  trade  or  exercise  a  profession  in  them.

Article  123.

The  provisions  of  Article  260  of  Part  IX  (Financial
  Clauses)  of  the  present  Treaty  sball  apply
in  the  case  of  all  agreements  concluded  with  German
  nationals  for  the  construction  or  exploitation
of  public  works  in  the  German  oversea  possessions,
  as  well  as  any  sub-Conçessions  or  contracts
resulting  therefrom  which  may  have  been  made
to  or  with  such  nationals.

Article  124.

CGermany  hereby  undertakes  to  pay,  in  accordance
  with  the  estimate  to  be  presented  by  the
French  Government  and  approved  by  the  Reparation
  Commission,  reparation  for  damage  suffered
by  French  nationals  in  the  Cameroons  or  the
frontier  zone  by  reason  of  the  acts  of  the  German
civil  and  military  authorities  and  of  German
Private  individuals  during  the  period  from  January
  1,  1900,  to  August  1,  1914.

Article  125.

Germany  rencunces  all  rights  under  the  Conventions
  and  Agreements  with  France  of  November
  4,  1911,  and  September  28,  1912,  relating
to  Equatorial  Africa.  She  undertakes  to  pay  to
the  French  Government,  in  accordance  with  the
estimate  to  be  presented  by  that  Government
and  approved  by  the  Reparation  Commission,
all  the  deposits,  credits,  advances,  etc.,  effected
by  virtue  of  these  instruments  in  favour  of  Germany.


Article  126.

Germany  undertakes  to  accept  and  observe
the  agreements  made  or  to  be  made  by  the  Allied
and  Associated  Powers  or  some  of  them  with  any.
otber  Power  with  regard  to  the  trade  in  arms
and  spirits,  and  to  the  matters  dealt  with  in
the  General  Act  of  Berlin  of  February  26,  1885,
the  General  Act  of  Brussels  of  July  2,  1890,  and
the  Conventions  completing  or  modifying  the
same.

Article  127.

The  native  inbabitants  of  the  former  German
oversea  possessions  shall  be  entitled  to  the  diplomatic
  protection  of  the  Governments  exercising
authority  over  those  territceries.
