Article  137.

L'Alemagne  renonce  à  toute  réclamation,  pour
elle  ou  ses  nationaux,  contre  le  Gouvernement
siamois  relativement  à  la  saisie  des  navires  allemands,
  à  la  ligquidation  des  biens  allemands  ou
à  Tinternement  des  ressortissants  allemands  au
Siam.  Cette  disposition  ne  doit  pas  affecter  les
droits  des  parties  intéressées  dans  le  produit
d’aucune  de  ces  liquidations,  ces  droits  Stant  réglés
par  les  dispositions  de  la  Partie  X  (Clauses  economiques)
  du  présent  Traité.

SECITLON  IV.
LIBERIA.

Article  138.

L'Allemagne  renonce  à  tous  drots  et  privileges
  résultant  des  arrangements  de  1911  et  1912
concernant  le  Liberia,  et  en  particulier  au  droit
de  nommer  un  receveur  des  douanes  allemand  en
Liberia.

Ele  déclare,  en  outre,  renoncer  à  toute  demande
de  Participer,  en  quci  due  ce  scit,  aux  mesures  dui
Pourraient  stre  adoptées  pour  la  reconstitution
du  Liberia.

Article  139.
L'’Allemagne  reconnait  comme  caducs,  à  dater
du  4  aoüt  1917,  tous  les  traités  et  arrangements
conclus  par  elle  avec  le  Liberia.

Article  140.

Les  biens,  droits  et  intéréts  appartenant  en
Liberia  à  des  Allemands,  seront  LIes  conformément
  à  la  Partie  X  (Causes  éCconomiques)  du
présent  Traité.

SECTILON  V.
MAROC.
Article  141.
L'Allemagne  renonce  à  tous  droits,  titres  ou
Privilsges

ultant  à  son  profit  de  D’Acte  Fnéral
d’Algésiras  du  7  avril  1906,  des  Accords  francoallemands
  du  9  février  1909  et  du  4  novembre  1911.
Tous  les  traités,  accords,  arrangements  ou  contrats
  passés  par  elle  avec  I’Empire  chérifien  sont
tenus  pour  abrogés  depuis  le  3  acüt  1914.

En  aucun  Cas,  I’Allemagne  ne  pourra  se  prévaloir
  de  ces  actes  et  elle  s'engage  à  n’intervenir,
en  aucune  façon,  dans  les  négociations  qui  pourront
  avoir  lieu  entre  la  France  et  les  autres  Puissances
  relativement  au  Maroc.

Article  142.

L'Allemagne  déclare  accepter  toutes  les  conséduences
  de  T’établissement,  reconnu  par  elle,  du

Article  137.

Germany  waives  all  claims  against  the  Siamese
Government  on  behalf  of  herself  or  her  nationals
earising  out  of  the  seizure  or  condemnation  of
German  ships,  the  liquidation  of  German  property,
or  the  internment  of  German  nationals  in  Siam.
This  provision  shall  not  affect  the  rights  of  the
bertis  interested  in  the  proceeds  of  any  such
iquidation,  which  shall  be  governed  by  the  pro-Visions
  of  Part  X  (Economic  Clauses)  of  the  present

Treaty.

SECTITON  IV.
LIBERIA.

Article  138.

Germany  renounces  all  rights  and  privileges
arising  from  the  arrangements  of  1911  and  1912
regarding  Liberia,  and  particularly  the  right  to
nominate  à  German  Receiver  of  Customs  in
Liberia.

She  further  renounces  all  claim  to  icipate
in  any  measures  whatsoever  which  may  be  adopted
for  the  rehabilitation  of  Liberia.

Article  139.

Germany  recognizes  that  all  treaties  and  arrangementse

  between  her  and  Liberia  terminated
as  from  August  4.  1917.

Article  140.

The  property,  rights  and  inrerests  of  Germans
  in  Liberia  shall  be  dealt  with  in  accondance
  with  Part  X  (Economie  Clauses)  of  the
Present  Treaty.

SECTION  V.
MOROCCO.

Article  141.

Germany  renounces  all  rights,  titles  and  privileges
  conferred  on  her  by  the  General  Act  of
Algeciras  of  April  7,  1906,  and  by  the  Franco-German
  Agreements  of  February  9,  1909  and
November  4,  1911.  All  treaties,  agreements,
arrangements  and  contracts  concluded  by  her
with  the  Sherifian  Empire  are  regarded  as  abrogated
  as  from  August  3,  1914.

In  no  case  can  Germany  take  advantage  of
these  instruments  and  she  undertakes  not  to
intervene  in  any#  way  in  negotiations  relating
to  Morocco  which  may  take  place  between  France
and  the  other  Powers.

Article  142.

Germany  having  recognized  the  French  Protectorate
  in  Morocco,  hereby  accepts  all  the
