A  cet  égard,  les  biens  et  propriétés  de  l'Empire
et  des  Etats  allemands  seront  considérés  comme
comprenant  toutes  les  propriétés  de  la  Couronne,
de  Empire  et  des  Etats  allemands,  ainsi  que  les
biens  privés  de  I’ex-empereur  d’Allemagne  et  des
autres  personnes  royales.

Touales  biens  meubles  et  immeubles  appartenant,
en  Egypte,  à  des  ressortissants  allemands  seront
traites  conformément  aux  Sections  III  et  IV  de
la  Partie  X  (Clauses  Cconomiques)  du  présent
Tnaité.

Article  154.

Les  marchandises  tiennes  béneficieront,  à
P’entrée  en  Allemagne,  du  régime  appliqué  aux
marchandises  britanniques.

SECTILON  VII.

TUROULE  ET  BULGARIE.
Article  155.

L'Allemagne  s'engage  à  reconnaftre  et  à  agréer
tous  arrangements  due  les  Puissances  alliées  et
associées  passeront  avec  la  Turquie  et  la  Bulgarie
relativement  aux  droits,  intéröts  et  privileges  quelconques,
  auxquels  I’  Allemagne  ou  les  ressortissants
allemands  pourraient  prétendre  en  Turquie  et  en
Bulgarie  et  qui  ne  sont  pas  l'objet  de  dispositions
du  présent  Traité.

SECTITLON  VIII.

CHANTOUNG.

Article  156.

L-’Allemagne  renonce,  en  faveur  du  Japon,  à
tous  ses  droits,  titres  et  privilöges  —  concernant
notamment  le  territoire  de  Kiao-Tchéou,  les  chemins
  de  fer,  les  mines  et  les  cäbles  sous-marins
—  qu’'elle  a  acquis,  en  vertu  du  Traité  passé  par
elle  avec  la  Cbine,  le  6  mars  1898,  et  de  tous  autres
actes  concernant  la  province  du  Chantoung.

Tous  les  droits  allemands  dans  le  chemin  de
fer  de  Tsingtao  à  Tsinanfou,  y  compris  ses  embranchements,
  ensemble  ses  dépendances  de  toute
nature,  gares,  magasins,  matériel  fixe  et  roulant,
mines,  Stablissements  et  matériel  d’exploitation
des  mines,  sont  et  demeurent  acquis  au  Japon,
avec  tous  les  droits  et  privileges  dui  s'y  rattachent.

Les  cäbles  sous-marins  de  I’Etat  allemand,  de
Tsingtao  à  Shanghal  et  de  Tsingtao  à  Tchéfou,
avec  tous  les  droits,  privilèeges  et  propriétés  qui
s'y  rattachent,  restent  é(galement  acquis  au  Japon,
franos  et  quittes  de  toutes  charges.

Article  157.

Les  droits  mobiliers  et  immobiliers  que  I·Etat
allemand  possede  dans  le  territoire  de  Kiso-Tchéou,
ainsi  que  tous  les  droits  qdu’il  pourrait  faire  valoir

suite  de  travaux  ou  aménagements  exécutés
ou  de  dépenses  engagées  par  lui,  directement  ou

  of  the  former  German  Emperor  and  other
Royal  personages.

All  movable  and  immovable  propert  in  Egypt
belonging  to  German  nationals  shall  be  dealt
with  in  accordance  with  Sections  III  and  IV
of  Part  X  (Economic  Clauses)  of  the  present
Treaty.

Article  154.

Egyptian  goods  entering  Germany  shall  enjoy
the  treatment  accorded  to  British  goods.

SECTILON  VII.

TUBRKETZ  AND  BULGARLA.

Article  155.

Germany  undertakes  to  recognise  and  accept
all  arrangements  which  the  Allied  and  Asscciated
  Powers  may  make  with  Turkey  and  Bulgaria
with  reference  to  any  rights,  interests  and  privileges
  whatever  which  might  be  claimed  by  Ermany
  or  her  nationals  in  Turkey  and  Bulgaria
and  which  are  not  dealt  with  in  the  provisions

of  the  present  Treaty.

SECTITON  VIII.

SHANTUNG.

Article  156.

Germany  rencunces,  in  favour  of  Japan,  all
her  rights,  title  and  privileges—  particulary  those
Concerning  the  territory  of  Kiacchow,  railwapys,
mines  and  submarine  cables—  which  she  acquired
in  virtue  of  the  Treaty  concluded  by  her  with
China  on  March  6,  1898,  and  of  all  other  arrangements
  relative  to  the  Province  of  Shantung.

All  German  rights  in  the  Tsingtao-Tsinanfu
Railway,  including  its  branch  lines,  together
with  its  subsidiary  Property  of  all  kinds,  stations
  shops,  fixed  and  rolling  stock,  mines,  plant
and  material  for  the  exploitation  of  the  mines,
are  and  remain  acquired  by  Japan,  together  with
all  rights  and  privileges  attaching  thereto.

The  German  State  submarine  cables  from
Tsingtao  to  Shanghai  and  from  Tsingtac  to  Chefoo,
with  all  the  rights,  privileges  and  properties
attaching  thereto,  are  similarly  acquired  by
Japan,  free  and  clear  of  all  charges  and  encumbrances.


Article  157.

The  movable  and  immovable  property  owned
by  the  German  State  in  the  territory  of  Kiaochow,
as  well  as  all  the  rigbts  which  Germany  might
claim  in  consequence  of  the  works  or  improvements
  made  or  of  the  expenses  incurred  by  her,
