devra,  dès  la  mise  en  vigueur  du  présent  Traité,
adresser  aux  Puissances  neutres  une  notification
à  cet  effet.

Article  185.

Dans  le  délai  de  deux  mois,  à  dater  de  la  mise
on  vigueur  du  présent  Traité,  les  bätiments  de
guerre  allemands  de  surface,  ci-après  GCnumérés,
seront  livrés  aux  Gouvernements  des  Principales
Puissances  alliées  et  associées,  dans  les  ports  alliés
dui  seront  indiqués  par  lesdites  Puissances.

Ces  bätiments  seront  en  état  de  désarmement,
ainsi  du’il  est  prévu  à  ’article  XXIII  de  1’Armistice
  du  11  novembre  1918.  Toutefois,  ils  devront
Avoir  toute  leur  artillerie  à  bord.

Cuirassés.

Oldenburg.  Posen.
Thuringen.  Westfalen.
Ostfriesland.  Rbeinland.
Helgoland.  Nassau.

Croiseurs  Igers.
Stettin.  Stralsund.
Danzig.  Augsburg.
München.  Kolberg.
Lübeck.  Stuttgart.

et,  en  outre:  quarante-deux  destroyers  récents  et
cinqduante  torpilleurs  récents,  qui  seront  désignés
par  les  Gouvernements  des  Principales  Puissances
allices  et  associées.

Article  186.

Des  la  mise  en  vigueur  du  présent  Traité,  le
Gouvernement  allemand  devra  faire  entreprendre,
sous  le  contröle  des  Gouvernements  des  Princi-Dales
  Puissances  allices  et  asscciées,  la  démolition
de  tous  les  bätiments  de  guerre  de  surface  allemands
  actuellement  en  construction.

Article  187.

Les  croiseurs  auxiliaires  et  bätiments  auxiliaires

allemands,  ci-après  énumérés,  seront  désarmés  et
traites  Komme  navires  de  Ccommerce.

Navires  internés  en  pays  neutres:

Berlin  Seydlitz.
Santa  Feé.  Vorck.

Navires  dans  les  ports  allemands:
Ammon.  Fürst  Bülow.
Answald.  Gertrud.

Bosnia.  Kigoma.
Cordoba.  Rugia.
Cassel.  Santa  Elena.
Dania.  Schleswig.
Rio  Negro.  Möwe.

Powers.  The  German  Government  must  address
a  notification  to  that  effect  to  tbe  neutral  Powers
on  the  coming  into  force  of  the  present  Treaty.

Article  185.

Within  a  period  of  two  montbs  from  the  coming
into  force  of  the  present  Treaty  the  German  surface
  warships  enumerated  below  will  be  surrendered.
to  the  Governments  of  the  Principal  Allied  and
Associated  Powers  in  such  Allied  ports  as  the  said
Powers  may  direct.

These  warships  will  bave  been  disarmed  as
Provided  in  Articlhe  XXIII  of  the  Armistice  of
November  11,  1918.  Nevertheless  they  must  have
all  their  guns  on  board.

LIGHT  CRUISERS

and,  in  addition,  forty-two  modern  destroyers  and
fifty  modern  torpedo  boats,  as  chosen  by  the
Governments  of  tbe  Principal  Allied  and  Associated
  Powers.

Article  186.

On  the  coming  into  force  of  the  present  Treaty
the  German  Government  must  undertake,  under
the  supervision  of  the  Governments  of  the  Principal
  Allied  and  Associated  Powers,  the  breakingup
  of  all  the  German  surface  warships  now  under
construction.

Article  187.

The  German  auziliary  cruisers  and  fleet  auxiliaries
  emnumerated  below  will  be  disarmed  and
treated  as  merchant  ships.
