Mönze; welche, nachdem sie sich ihre Voll- 
machten gegenseitig mitgetheilt und dieselben 
in guter und gehöriger Form befunden ha- 
ben, über die nachfolgenden Artikel überein- 
gekommen sind: 
Artikel I. 
In Erwägung, daß Britischen Schiffen 
gestattet ist, aus den Häfen aller Länder mic 
ihren Ladungen in die Häfen Preußens und 
der übrigen Staaten des vorbezeichneten Zoll- 
Vereins einzulaufen; in Erwägung der Zu- 
geständnisse, welche vermittelst der gegenwärti- 
gen Convention dem Britischen Handel hin- 
sichtlich aller Staaten dieses Zollvereins ge- 
macht worden sind; in Erwägung ferner der 
Leichtigkeit, mit welcher in Folge der An- 
wendung der Dampfkraft auf die Vinnen- 
schifffahrt die Beförderung von Gütern und 
Waaren aller Art sowohl stromauf= als 
stromabwärts statefindet; in Erwägung end- 
lich der neuen Auswege, welche auf diese 
Weise dem Handel und der Schifffahre.

Who, after having Communicated to each 
other their respective Full Powers, found 
to be in good and due form, have agreed 
upon and concluded the following Ar- 
ticles: 
Article I. 
In consideration of the ciroumgtance 
that British Vessels are admitted, 
gether with their Cargoes, to nase # in 
the Ports of Prussia and of the other 
States of the aforenamed Union of 
Customs, when coming from the Ports 
of all Countries, and in consideration 
f the concessions stipulated in this 
present Convention for British Trade 
with all the States of this Union of’ 
Customs; — in Consideration also of’ 
the facility which the application of 
Steam power to inland navigation affords, 
for the conveyance of Produce andl 
Merchandize of all Kinds up and downt 
Rivers; and in consideration of the: 
new opening which may by these means
