Deutschen Unterthanen freistehen, sich an
allen Orten niederzulassen, die nicht mehr
als vier und zwanzig Stunden von
Bangkok enrfernt sind.
Im Süden: die Insel Simaharad-
schah, die Sitschang-Inseln und die
Mauern von Petschabmie.
Auf der Wesiseite des Golfs sollen
sich Deutsche Unterthanen in Perschaburi,
und von dort dis zum Meklong Flusse
überall innerhalb einer Entfernung von
vier und zwanzig Stunden von Dang-
kok niederlassen dürfen. Von der Mün-
dung des Meklong an soll dieser die
Grenze bilden bis zur Stadt Raatpuri,
dann eine gerade Linie von Raatpuri
nach Sapannaburi, und von dort nach
der Mündung des Bangputsa Kanals
in den Tschaupja Fluß.
Indessen dürfen Deutsche Angehbrige
auch außerhalb dieser Grenzen ihren
Wohnsitz nehmen, sobald sie hierzu die
Erlaubniß der Siamesischen Behörden
erhalten. '
Allen Unterthanen der kontrahirenden
Deutschen Staaten steht es frei, im
ganzen Küntgreic Siam zu reisen,
Handel zu treiben und Waaren, die nicht
verboten sind, zu kaufen oder zu ver-
kaufen, von wem und an wen sie wollen.
Sie sind nicht verpflichtet, von Beamten,
oder solchen, die im Besstze eines Mono-
pols sind, zu kaufen, oder an dieselben
zu verkaufen, und es ist Niemandem ge-
statter, sie in ihren Handelsgeschäften zu
behindern oder zu stören.
Artikel 6.
Die Siamesische Regierung wird
Deutschen Staatsangehörigen keinerlei
Hindernisse in den Weg legen, Siame-
sische Unterthanen, in welcher Eigenschaft
es auch sei, in Dienst zu nehmen. Wenn
jedoch ein Siamesischer Unterthan irgend

Gulf German citisens may settle a#
Petchaburi, and anywhere between
that city and the river Meklong with-
in a journey of twenty four hours
from Bangkok. — From the mouth
of the Meklong that river shall form
the boundary up to the town of
Rajpuri; from thence à straight line
drawn to the town of Supannaburi,
and thence to the mouth of the
Bangputsa canal into the Chowpya
river.
Nevertheles German subjects
may reside beyond these bounde-
ries on obtaining permission to do
so from the Siamese authorities.
All subjects of the contracling
German States are at liberty to tra-
vel and trade throughout the entire
Kingdom of Siam, and io buy and
sell all merchandise not prohibited,
from and 1o whomsoever they please.
They are not bound to purchese
from, or to sell to oflicials or mo-
nopolists; nor is any bod) permit-
ted to interlere with them or hin-
der them in their business.
Article 6.
