Er soll vier Wochen nach dem Austausche der 
Ratifications-Urkunden in Kraft treten. 
Artikel 7. 
Der gegenwärtige Vertrag soll ratificirt und es 
sollen die Ratifications-Urkunden binnen sechs Mo- 
naten oder, wenn möglich, früher in Berlin aus- 
gewechselt werden. 
Zu Urkund dessen haben die beiderseitigen Be- 
vollmächtigten denselben unterzeichnet undihre Siegel 
beigedrückt. 
So geschehen zu Gastein den sechszehnten August 
im Jahre des Herrn Eintausend achthundert und 
fünf und sechszig.

It shall come into force four weeks after 
the exchange of the ratifications thereof. 
Article 7. 
The present Treaty shall be ratilled, and 
the ratilications thereof shall be exchanged 
at Berlin in sikx months, or sooner if possible. 
In witness whereofl, the respective Ple- 
Hipotentiaries have signed the same, and 
have affixed thereto the seal of their arms. 
Done at Gastein the sixteenth day of Au- 
gust in the vear of Our Lord one thousand 
eight hundred and sixty five.
