du bassin de la Sarre, puis successivement
les limites administratives qui séparent les cercles
de Sarrelouis, d'Ottweiler et de Saint-Wendel des
cercles de Merzig, de Treves et de la principauté
de Birkenfeld, jusqu’'à un point situé à 500 metres
environ au Nord du village de Furschweiler (point
culminant du Metzelberg).
Au Nord-Est et à I’Est: du dernier point ci-dessus
défini, jusqu'à un point situé à environ 3 kilometres
5 à PTEst-Nord-Est de Saint-Wendel:
une ligne à déterminer sur le terrain, passant
à TEst de Furschweiler, à POuest de Roschberg
à ’Est des cotes 418, 329 (Sud de Roschberg),
à IOuest de Leitersweiler, au Nord-Est de la cote
464. puis, suivant vers le Sud la ligne de faite
jusqu'à son point de rencontre avec la limite administrative
du cercle de Kusel;
de Ià, vers le Sud, la limite du cercle de Kusel,
uis celle du cercle de Homburg, vers le Sud-Sudst,
jusqu’'à un point situé à environ 1000 metres
Ouest de Dunzweiler;
de Ià et jusqu’à un point situé à environ 1 kilometre
au Sud de Hornbach:
une ligne à déterminer sur le terrain, passant
par la cote 424 (environ 1000 metres Sud-Est
de Dunzweiler), par les cotes 363 (Fuchs-Berg),
322 (Sud-Ouest de Waldmohr), puis à Est de
Jägersburg et de Erbach, puis englobant Homburg
en passant par les cotes 361 (2 kllométres 5 environ
à I’Est-Nord-Est de la ville), 342 (2 kilometres
environ Sud-Est de la ville), 357 (Schreiners-Berg),
356, 350 (1 kilométre 5 environ Sud-Est
de Schwarzenbach), passant ensuite à l'Est de
Einöd, au Sud-Est des cotes 322 et 333, à environ
2 kilometres Est de Hebenheim, 2 kilomstres Est
de Mimbach, contournant à I’Est le mouvement de
terrain sur lequel passe la route de Mimbach à
Böckweiler de maniere à comprendre ladite route
dans le territoire de la Sarre, passant immédiatement
au Nord de embranchement des deux routes
venant de Böckweiler et de Altheim“) et situé à
environ 2 kilométres Nord d’Altheim, puis, par
Ringweilerhof exclu et la cote 322 incluse, rejoignant
la frontière française au coude qu'elle
forme à environ 1 kilometre Sud de Hornbach
(voir la carte au 1 100,000, annexée au présent

et trois par le Conseil de la Société des

in the territory of the Saar Basin the canton
of Mettlach, with the exception of the commune
of Britten; following successively the northern
administrative boundaries of the cantons of
Merzig and Haustadt, which are incorporated in
the aforesaid Saar Basin, then successively the
administrative boundaries separating the Kreise of
Saarlouis, Ottweiler and Saint-Wendel from the
Kreise of Merzig, Tréves (Trier) and the Principality
of Birkenfeld as far as a point situated about 500
metres north of the village of Furschweiler (viz.,
the highest point of the Metzelberg).
On the north-east and east: from the last point
defined above to a point 3½ kilometres eastnorth-east
of Saint-Wendel:
a line to be fixed on the Krounc assing East
of Furschweiler, west of Roschberg, east of
oints 418, 329 (scuth of Roschberg), west of
Leitersweiler, north-east of point 464, and follow
ing the line of the crest southwards to its junotion
with the administration boundary of the
Kreis of Kusel;
thençe in a southerly direction the boundaryofthe
Kreis of Kusel, then the boundary of the Kreis of
Homburg towards the south-south-east to a point
situated about 1,000 metres west of Dunzweiler;
thence to a point about 1 kilometre scuth of
Hornbach:
a lline to be fixed on the ground passing through
Point 424 (about 1,000 metres southeast of Dunzweiler),
point 363 (Fuchs-Berg), point 322 (southwest
of Waldmohr), then east o Jägersburg and
Erbach, then encircling Homburg, passing through
the points 361 (about 2½ kilometres north-ast.

south-east of that town), 347 (Schreiners-Berg),

Passing east of the plateau which is traversed
by the road from Mimbach to Böckweiler (so as
toinclude this road in the territoryofthe Saar Besin),
Passing immediately north of the junction of the
roads from Böckweiler and Altheim situated about
2 kilometres north of Altheim, then passing south
of Ringweilerhof and north of point 322, rejoining
the frontier of France at the angle which it makes
about 1 kilometre south of Hornbach (see Map
No. 2 scale 1/100,000 annexed to the present
Treaty).
A Commission composed of five members, one
appointed by France, one by Germany, and three
by the Council of the League of Nations, which
