Artikel 7. 
Die in den vorstehenden Artikeln 1. 
bis 6. getroffenen Bestimmungen finden 
auch auf die Kolonien und auswaͤrtigen 
Besitzungen Ihrer Britischen Majestaͤt 
Anwendung. In diesen Kolonien und 
Besitzungen sollen die Erzeugnisse der 
Staaten des Zollvereins keinen hoͤheren 
oder anderen Eingangs-Abgaben unter- 
liegen, als die gleichartigen Erzeugnisse 
des Vereinigten Koͤnigreiches von Groß- 
britannien und Irland oder irgend eines 
anderen Landes, und es soll die Aus- 
fuhr aus diesen Kolonien oder Besitzun- 
gen nach dem Jollverein keinen höheren 
oder anderen Abgaben unterworfen wer- 
den, als die Ausfuhr nach dem Ver- 
einigten Königreiche von Großbritannien 
und Irland. 
Artikel 8. 
Der gegenwärtige Vertrag soll am 
1. Juli 18065. in Kraft treten und bis 
zum 30. Juni 1877. in Kraft bleiben. 
Im Falle keiner der vertragenden Theile 
zwölf Monate vor diesem Tage seine 
Absicht, die Wirkung des Vertrages auf- 
hören zu lassen, dem anderen kund ge- 
eben haben sollte, soll derselbe bis zum 
Mlauf eines Jahres von dem Tage ab 
in Geltung bleiben, an welchem der eine 
oder der andere der vertragenden Theile 
denselben gekündigt hat. 
Artikel 9. 
Der gegenwärtige Vertrag soll ra- 
tiffzirt, und es sollen die Ratifikations-

Tne stipulations of the preceding 
Artiches 1. to 6. shall also be 
applied to the Colonies and Foreign 
Possessions of Her Britannic Ma- 
jesty. In those Colonies and Pos- 
Sessions the produce of the States 
#of the Zollverein shall not be sub- 
ject to any higher or other import- 
duties, than the produce of ihe 
United Kingdom of Creat Britain 
and lreland, or of any other country, 
of fhe like kind; nor shall the ex- 
portation from those Colonies or 
Possessions to the Zollverein be 
subject to any higher or other 
duties, than the exportation to the 
United Kingdom of Great Britain 
and lreland. 
Article 8. 
The present Treaty shall come 
into force on the 1°“ of July 1865, 
and shall remain in force until the 
30% of June 1877. In Case neither 
of ihe Contracting Parties shali, 
twelve months before the last-men- 
tioned day, have given notice 10 
the other of ihe intention to termi- 
nate the operation of the Treaty, 
then the same shall continue in 
force until the expiration of one 
year from the day upon which 
either of the Comracting Parties 
shall have given notice to the other 
to terminate the same. 
Article 9. 
The present Treaty shall be ra- 
tilied, and the ratifications thereof
