  d’avcc  IAllemagno  ou  qui  soront  rétablis
ou  rostaurés  par  application  de  T’articlé  306  du
Trésent  Traité,  scront  reconnus  par  I’Etat  auquel
sora  Cransféré  ledit  torritoire  et  demeureront  en
vigueur  sur  co  territoire,  pour  la  durée  qui  leur
sorn  accordéo  sulvant  la  lEgislation  allcmande.

AssunANCES  SOCLALES  EL  ASSURANCES
DETAT  DANS  LES  TERRLITOIRES  CEDES.

Artiche  912.

Sans  préjudice  des  stipulations  contenues  dans
FTautres  clauses  du  présent  Trailé,  le  Gouvernemont
  allemand  s'engage  à  trensférer  à  la
alleou
  à  la
territoires
en  vertu
de  Tarlicle  22  de  la  Parlie  I  (Sociécté  des  Natiens),
  tello  fraction  des  résorves  accumulées  par
ILs  Gouvernements  de  1’Empire  ou  des  Etats  allomands,
  ou  par  des  organismos  publics  ou  privés
opérant  sous  leur  contröle,  destinéos  à  faire  face

Puissaneco  à  laquello  des  territoires
mands  sont  ccdés  on  Europe,
L’uissance  administrant  Tanciens

allemands  en  tant  quo  mandataire,

au  fonctionnement,  dans  ces  territoires,  do  toutes
surances  sociales  et  assurances  d'Etat.

Les  Puissances  auxquclles  ces  fonds  secront
(ransferes  devront  nécessairement  les  allecter  à
Iextecution  des  obligations  résultant  de  ces
assurances.

Les  conditions  de  ce  transfert  soront  réglées
par  des  conventions  spéciales  conclues  ontro  lo
(iouvernement  allemand  ct  les  Gouverncmonts
interesss.

Dans  lo  cas  ou  ces  conrentions  spéciales  ne
soraient  pas  conclues  conformément  à  Talinéa

Rights  of  industrial,  literary  and  artistic  propPerty
  which  are  in  force  in  the  territories  separatod
  from  Germany  under  the  prosent  Treaty  al
the  moment  of  the  separation  of  thesc  territories
from  Germany,  or  which  will  be  re-established  or
rostored  in  accordance  with  tho  provisions  of  Artiche
  306  of  the  present  Treaty,  shall  be  recognizedby
  the  State  to  which  the  said  territory  is  transferred
  and  shall  remain  in  force  in  that  territory
for  the  same  period  of  time  given  them  under  tho.
German  law.

SECTION  VIII.

SOCAL  AND  STATE  INSURANCE  IN
CEDED  TERRITORT.

Arkiche  312.

Without  preiudice  to  the  provisions  contained
in  other  Articles  of  the  present  Treaty,  the
Georman  Government  undertakes  to  transfer  to
any  Power  to  which  Gorman  territory  in  Europe
is  ceded,  and  to  any  Power  administering  former
German  territory)  as  a  mandatory  under
Article  22  of  Part  I  (Leaguc  of  Nations),  such
portion  of  the  reserves  accumulated  by  the  Govornment
  of  the  German  Empire  or  of  German
Stales,  or  by  public  or  private  organisations
under  their  control,  as  is  attributablo  to  tho
carrying  on  of  Social  or  State  Insurance  in  such
torritory.  "

The  Powers  to  which  these  funds  are  transferred
  must  apply  them  to  the  performance  ol
the  obligations  arising  from  such  insurances.

The  conditions  of  the  transfer  will  be  determined
  by  special  conventions  to  be  concludod
bet  ween  the  German  Governmont  and  the  Governments
  concerned.
