administrative  tourne  à  angle  aigu  vers  le  Sud-Est,
à  environ  trois  kilometres  Nord-QOuest  de  Simmenau:


la  limite  entre  la  Haute  et  la  Moyenne  Silésie;

de  R,  vers  IOuest  et  jusqu'n  un  point  à  déterminer,
  situé  à  environ  deux  kilométres  à  I’Est
de  Lorzendorf:

une  ligne  à  déterminer  sur  le  terrain  passant
au  Nord  de  Klein  Hennersdorf;

de  R,  vers  le  Sud  et  jusqu'’au  point  où  la  limite
entre  la  Haute  et  la  Moyenne  Silésie  coupe  la  route
de  Städtel-Karlsruhe:

une  ligne  à  déterminer  sur  le  terrain  passant  à
POuest  des  localités  de  Hennersdorf,  Polkowitz,
Noldau,  Steinersdorf  et  Dammer,  et  à  DPEst  des
localités  de  Strehlitz,  Nassadel,  Eckersdorf,  Schwirz
et  Städtel;

de  Ià,  la  limite  entre  la  Haute  et  la  Moyenne
Silésie  jusqu’fà  sa  rencontre  avec  la  limite  orientale
du  cercie  (Kreis)  de  Falkenberg;

de  Ià,  la  limite  orientale  du  cercie  (Kreis)  de
Falkenberg  jusqufa  un  point  du  saillant  situé  à
environ  3  kilométres  à  IEst  de  Puschine;

de  Ià,  et  jusqu’'à  la  pointe  Nord  du  saillant  de
Fancienne  province  de  Silésie  autrichienne,  située
à  environ  huit  kilomstres  à  FEst  de  Neustadt:

une  ligne  à  déterminer  sur  le  terrain  passant  à
PEst  de  Zülz.

Le  régime  sous  lequel  il  sera  procédé  et  donné
suite  à  cette  consultation  populaire,  fait  Tobjet
des  dispositions  de  IAnnexe  ci-jointe.  «

Les  Gouvernements  polonais  et  allemand  s'engagent
  des  à  présent,  chacun  en  ce  qui  le  concerne,
  à  n’exercer  sur  aucun  point  de  leur  territoire
  aucune  poursuite  et  à  ne  prendre  aucune
mesure  d'’exception  pour  aucun  fait  politique  survenu
  en  Haute  Silésie  pendant  la  période  du  régime
Prévu  à  PAnnexe  ci-jointe  et  jusqufs  Pétablissement
  du  régime  definitif  de  ce  pays.

LlAllemagne  déclare  des  à  présent  renoncer
en  faveur  de  la  Pologne  à  tous  droits  et  titres  sur
la  partie  de  la  Haute  Silésie  située  au-delà  de  la
ligne  frontiére  fixée,  en  conséquence  du  plébiscite,
par  les  Principales  Puissances  allices  et  associées.

ANNEXE.

-  81.

Des  la  mise  en  vigueur  du  présent  Traité  et
dans  un  délai  qui  ne  devra  pas  dépasser  quinze
jours,  les  troupes  et  les  autorités  allemandes  due
pourra  désigner  la  Commission  Prévue  au  paraphe

  2,  devront  évacuer  la  zone  scumise  au
Plébiscite.  Elles  devront,  jusqu'à  compléte  GCvacuation,
  s'abstenir  de  toutes  réquisitions  en  argent
ou  en  nature  et  de  toute  mesure  susceptible  de
porter  atteinte  aux  intéréts  matériels  du  pays.

Dans  le  meme  dlai,  les  conseils  des  ouyriers
et  soldats  institués  dans  cette  zone  seront  dissous;
ceux  de  leurs  membres  qui  seraient  originaires

thence  westwards  to  the  point  where  the  administrative

the  boundary  between  Upper  and  Middle  Silesia;

then  in  a  westerly  direction  to  a  point  to  be
fixed  on  the  ground  about  2  kilometres  east  of
Lorzendorf:

a  line  to  be  fixed  on  the  ground  passing  north.
of  Klein  Hennersdorf:

thence  southwards  to  the  point  where  the
boundary  between  Upper  and  Middle  Silesia  cuts
the  Städtel-Karlsruhe  road:

a  line  to  be  fixed  on  the  ground  passing  west
of  Hennersdorf,  Polkowitz,  Noldau,  Steinersdorf
and  Dammer,  and  east  of  Strehlitz,  Nassadel,
Eckersdorf,  Schwirz  and  Städtel;

thence  the  boundary  between  Upper  and  Middle
Silesia  to  its  junction  with  the  eastern  boundary
of  the  Kreis  of  Falkenberg;

then  the  eastern  boundary  of  the  Kreis  of
Falkenberg  to  the  point  of  the  salient  which  is
3  kilometres  east  of  Puschine;

thence  to  the  northern  point  of  the  salient  of
the  old  province  of  Austrian  Silesia  situated
about  8  kilometres  east  of  Neustadt:  »

a  line  to  be  fixed  on  the  ground  passing  east
of  Zülz.

The  régime  under  which  this  plebiscite  will
be  taken  and  given  effect  to  is  laid  down  in  the
Annex  hereto.

The  Polich  and  German  Governments  hereby
respectively  bind  themselves  to  conduct  no  pro-Secutions
  on  any  part  of  their  territory  and  to
take  no  exceptional  proceedings  for  any  political
action  performed  in  Upper  Dilesia  during  the
period  of  the  régime  laid  down  in  the  i“#
hereto  and  up  to  the  settlement  of  the  final  status
of  the  country.

Germany  hereby  renounces  in  favour  of  Poland
all  rights  and  title  over  the  portion  of  Upper
Silesia  lying  beyond  the  frontier  line  fixed  by  the
Principal  Allied  and  Associated  Powers  as  the
result  of  the  plebiscite.

ANNEXK.

Within  fifteen  days  from  the  coming  into  force
of  the  present  Treaty  the  German  troops  and  such
#fficials  as  may  be  designated  by  the  Commission
set  up  under  the  provisions  of  paragraph  2  shall
evacuate  the  plebiscite  area.  Up  to  the  moment
of  the  completion  of  the  evachation  they  shall
refrain  from  any  form  of  requisitioning  in  money
or  in  kind  and  from  all  acts  likely  to  prejudice  the
material  interests  of  the  country.

Within  the  same  period  the  Workmens’  and
Soldiers'  Councils  which  have  been  constituted
in  this  area  shall  be  dissolved.  Members  of  such
