Les  tarifs  de  transport  par  voie  de  tor  ou  par
eau  no  dépasseront  pas  les  tarifs  los  plus  bas
appliqués  aux  transports  de  méme  nature  en
Allemagne.

b)  Fournfture  par  vofe  de  mer.  —  Le  prix  sera
soit  le  prix  d’exportation  allemand  f.  o.  b.  dans
les  ports  allemands,  soit  le  prix  d’exportation
anglais  f.  o.  b.  dans  les  ports  anglais  et  dans  tous
les  Cas  le  plus  bas  des  deux.

§  7.

Les  Gouvernements  alliées  et  asscciés
intéressés  pourront  demander  la  livraison  de  coke
métallurgique  en  remplacement  de  charbon,  à
raison  de  3  tonnes  de  coke  par  4  tonnes  de  charbon.

L'Allemagne  s'engage  à  fournir  à  la  France.
et  à  transporter  à  la  frontière  française,  par  voie
de  fer  ou  par  eau,  les  produits  suivants,  pendant
chacune  des  trois  années  qui  suivront  la  mige  en

vigueur  du  présent  Traité:
Benzol  .....  ......  ...
Goudron  de  houille  50,000  —
Sulfate  d’ammoniaque.  30,000  —

Tout  ou  partie  du  goudron  de  houille  pourra
stre  remplacé,  au  choix  du  Gouvernement  français,
par  des  quantités  é6quivalentes  des  produits  de

distillation,  tels  que  huiles  16gères,  huilbs  lourdes,

anthrachne,  naphtaline  ou  brai.
·  §9.

Le  prix  payé  pour  le  coke  et  les  autres
produits  visés  au  paragraphe  8  sora  le  prix  payé
par  les  ressortissants,  toutes  conditions  d’emballage
  et  de  port  jusqu'à  la  frontidre  française  ou
iusqu'aux  ports  allemands  stant  les  plus  avantageuses
  consenties  pour  les  memes  produits  aux
ressortissants  allemandes.

Railroad  and  barge  tariffs  shall  not  be  higher
than  the  lowest  similar  rates  paid  in  Germayy.

(5)  For  sea  delivery,  the  German  erxport
Price  f.o.b.  German  ports,  or  the  Britich
export  price  f.c.  b.  British  ports,  whichever  may
be  lower.

The  Allied  and  Associated  Governments  ioterested
  may  demand  the  delivery,  in  place  of  coal,
of  metallurgical  coke  in  the  proportion  of  3  tons
of  coke  to  4  tons  of  coal-8.



Germany  undertakes  to  deliver  to  Pranes,
and  to  transport  to  the  French  frontier  by  rail
or  by  water,  the  following  products,  during  each
of  the  three  Vears  following  the  coming  into
force  of  this  Treaty;

Benzol  35.000  tons.
Coal  ter.  50,000  tons.
Sulphate  of  ammonia  30),000  tons.

All  or  part  of  the  coal  tar  may,  at  the  option
of  the  French  Government,  be  replaced  by  corresponding
  quäntities  of  products  of  distillatian,
such  as  light  oils,  heavy  oüls,  anthracene,  naphthalene

  or  pitch.

The  price  paid  for  coke  and  for  the  articles
referred  to  in  the  preceding  paragraph  shall  be
the  same  as  the  price  haid  by  German  nationals
under  the  same  conditions  of  shipment  to  the
French  frontier  or  to  the  German  ports,  and

ehall  be“  subject  to  any  advantages  which  may
be  accorded  similar  products  furnished  to  German
  nationals.
