biens,  droits  et  intérsts  des  ressortissants  allemands
  ne  devront  étre  liquidés  par  application  de
T’articke  297  par  le  Gouvernement  polonais  due
conformément  aux  dispositions  suivantes:

1°  Le  produit  de  la  liquidation  devra  ötre  payé
directement  à  I’ayant  droit;

2°  Au  cas  où  ce  dernier  établirait  devant  le
"tribunal  arbitral  mixte  prévu  par  la  Section  VI
de  la  Partie  X  (Clauses  économiques)  du  présent
Traité,  ou  devant  un  arbitre  désigné  par  ce  tribunal,
  due  les  conditions  de  la  vente  ou  due  des
mesures  prises  par  le  Gouvernement  polonais  en
dehors  de  sa  lGgislation  générale,  ont  été  injustement
  préjudiciables  au  Prix,  le  Tribunal  ou  T’arbitre
  aura  la  facultée  d’accorder  &  I’ayant  droit
une  indemnité  Gquitable,  qui  devra  ötre  payée
par  le  Gouvernement  polonais.

Des  Conventions  ultérieures  régleront  toutes
duestions  qui  ne  seraient  pas  réglées  par  le  présent
  Traité  et  que  pourrait  faire  nattre  la  cession
desdits  territoires.

Article  93.

La  Pologne  accepte,  en  agréant  Tinsertion
dans  un  Traité  avec  les  Principales  Puissances
allices  et  associées,  les  dispositions  que  ces  Puissances
  jugeront  nécessaires  pour  protéger  en  Pologne
  les  intéréts  des  habitants  qui  diffèrent  de
la  majorité  de  la  population  par  la  race,  la  langue
ou  la  religion.

La  Pologne  agrée  6galement  TPinsertion  dans
un  Traité  avec  les  Principales  Puissances  alliées
et  associées  des  dispositions  due  ces  Puissances
jugeront  nécessaires  pour  protéger  la  liberté  du
transit  et  un  régime  Squitable  pour  le  commerce
des  autres  nations.

SECTILON  KK.
PRUSSE  ORIENTAELE.

Article  94.

Dans  la  zone  comprise  entre  la  frontière  Sud
du  territoire  de  la  Prusse  orientale,  telle  que  cette
frontière  est  déterminée  à  T’article  28  de  la  Partie
  II  (Frontières  d’Allemagne)  du  présent  Traité,
et  la  ligne  ci-desscus  déecrite,  les  habitants  seront
appelés  à  désigner  par  voie  de  suffrages  1Etat
auquel  ils  désirent  étre  rattachés:

limite  Ouest  et  Nord  du  territoire  du  gouvernement
  (Regierungsbezirk)  d'’Allenstein,  jusqu'à  sa
rencontre  avec  la  limite  entre  les  cercles  (Kreise)
d’Oletzko  et  d’-Angerburg;  de  là,  la  limite  Nord
du  cercie  (Kreis)  d'Oletzko  jusqu'à  sa  rencontre
aveo  Pancienne  frontière  de  la  Prusse  Orientale.

Article  95.

Dans  un  délai  qui  n’exceédera  pas  quinze  jours,
à  compter  de  la  mise  en  vigueur  du  présent  Trait6,
les  troupes  et  les  Autorités  allemandes  se  retireront
  de  la  zone  ci-dessus  décrite.  Jusqu’à  ce
que  I’éGvacuation  soit  achevée,  elles  s’abstiendront

obtained,  they  shall  have  discretion  to  award  to
the  owner  equitable  compensation  to  be  paid  by
the  Polish  Government.

Further  agreements  will  regulate  all  questions
arising  out  of  the  cession  of  the  above  territory.
which  are  not  regulated  by  the  present  Treaty,.

Article  93.

Poland  accepts  and  agrees  to  embody  in  a

Treaty  with  the  Principal  Allied  and  Asscciated
Powers  such  provisions  as  may  be  deemed  necessary
  by  the  said  Powers  to  protect  the  interests
of  inhabitants  of  Poland  who  differ  from  the
majority  of  the  population  in  race,  language  or
religion.
PFoland  further  accepts  and  agrees  to  embod)
in  a  Treaty  with  the  said  Powers  such  provisions
as  they  may  deem  necessary  to  protect  freedom
of  transit  and  equitable  treatment  of  the  commerce
  of  other  nations.

SECTILON  KK.
EAST  PRUSSIA.

Article  94.

In  the  area  between  the  scuthern  frontier  of
East  Prussia,  as  described  im  Article  28  of  Part  II
(Boundaries  of  Germany)  of  the  present  Treaty,
and  the  line  described  below,  the  inhabitants
will  be  called  upon  to  indicate  by  a  vote  the
State  to  which  they  wish  to  belong:

The  western  and  northern  boundary  of  Regierungsbezirk
  Allenstein  to  its  junction  with  the
boundary  between  the  Kreise  of  Oletsko  and
Angerburg;  thence,  the  northern  boundary  of  the
Kreis  of  Oletsko  to  its  junction  with  the  old  frontier
  of  East  Prussia.

Article  95.

The  German  troops  and  authorities  will  be
withdrawn  from  the  area  defined  above  within
a  period  not  exceeding  fifteen  days  after  the
coming  into  force  of  the  present  Treaty.  Until
the  evacuation  is  completed  they  will  abstain
